Hello!

I put the date in the title so that everyone will know how old this post is when they wander here.

I am 46 years old, 5' 9" tall and as of weigh-in this morning 222.5 lbs. (I've gained 11 lbs since being laid off from my job 2 months ago)

I've struggled with my weight my entire life, and while I originally purchased ACV (with the Mother in it) a couple of weeks ago, I did not purchase it for the weight loss benefit, but for all the health benefits it offers.

But, as an aside, I will come back here and post my weight loss results and any other benefits I notice along the way.

A bit about my history, polycystic ovarian syndrome, previous diagnosis of hypertension (but previous weight loss of 70 lbs eliminated hypertension, but have gained most of the weight back so....it could come back at any time) and diet-controlled type II diabetes.

I am trying to change my way of eating and have been slowing decreasing my meat intake and increasing my fruit and vegetable intake. Also note that I have eliminated most dairy.

I drink a green smoothie for breakfast every day with 8 oz almond milk, 1/4 c of non-fat plain greek yogurt, 1 medium banana, 2 huge handfuls of baby spinach (and if I feel like adding another fruit, it's usually a peach or freshly frozen blueberries), 1 scoop of SuperFood green powder, blend it well and enjoy. It's very filling, and healthy!

The rest of the day I focus on fruits and veggies, both raw and cooked, and if I eat any starches like rice or bread, it would be brown rice and whole grain bread.

At the same time I purchased the ACV, I also purchased cold-pressed coconut oil, but have only used it once on toast in place of butter/margarine. It was good and had no coconut taste or smell (at least with the brand I purchased.)

I was apprehensive about taking 2 tsps of ACV with Mother in 8 oz of water because the thought of drinking vinegar repulses me, but diluted in the water was not bad. It was almost like drinking a tangy lemonade but without the added sweetener.

I'll keep you updated. I'll post next Tuesday what the scale shows and any other benefits.

January 2016, I have been reading about ACV for a while and even bought a bottle but never opened.

I started today as I want to shift a few pounds as well as get a flatter tummy.

I tried the 2 tablespoons diluted in water but I found it tasted worse than 2 tablespoons neat.
So for lunch and before bed I have had 2x tb spoons undiluted.

I eat quite healthy and exercise via walking etc so it will be interesting to see I ACV works by no change to diet or exercise level.

I will keep updating.

ACV helped me to lose weight and save money.

I needed to lose weight and could not exercise due to a bad knee injury, so I started with the acv diet. I walk 30 minutes a day and eat more fruit and veggies. My energy level is up and I see a big change in my weight.

It’s only been 2 weeks since I’ve started. I feel great and I’m not going to weigh in for at least a month.

p.s. I was at 210 pounds.....to be continued.

I have started 2nd day taking the ACV... I am an athlete on injury so workout is not my friend right now.

I have gained about 20 pounds and need to take it off.
Will keep you guys posted.

THIS MAY HELP

I had many of the same symptoms as you check out the WHEAT BELLY BLOG SITE.

I have followed Dr. Davis' suggestions and also incorporate ACV in my diet up to 4 times a day. I have noticed a real differance in how I feel. I think the combination of changes has helped me for sure. I CAN FEEL IT!

I have also had rt knee replace 1 1/2 yrs ago and am trying to avoid the left which is also needed,but is not as bad as it was.

I am writing to ask others how ACV helped them.

I am so exhausted most of the time. I am overweight and have arthritis. I have a lot of pain.

A friend of mine suggested ACV. So here I am beginning today, hope it helps.

I have not been consistent in remembering to take it. I manage a few days and then something comes up that throws off my normal routine and I forget.

Sorry for not posting sooner. Will update again when I establish a regular habit in taking the ACV.
