7 Pounds lost in Two Weeks with ACV!

One of my best friends somehow came across literature for Apple Cider Vinegar and its many benefits for human consumption (use as a health supplement).
I have been trying to lose weight for *several* years, and she particularly noticed the claims for weight loss. She instructed me to drink 2 tsps. of the ACV in a 10 oz. glass of water before every meal.
I did not follow it religiously, drank it one or two times a day, and not necessarily before every meal (sometimes after meals, or between meals).
The first thing I noticed was an odd sense of clarity and a slight change in awareness of my energy level (it went up) upon downing the ACV/water drink.
The taste is pungent, sour, and provides a little "zing". (My friend compared to the flavor to Kombucha - I believe it is a good likening... similar.)
It has only been two weeks, but I am so excited. Even without following the instructions to the letter, I have lost 6.8 lbs!!!
Granted, I weighed 218 lbs. (on a 5'1 frame - morbidly obese), so my weight loss is (as is always) marked at first. I expect the weight loss to slow down quite a bit through time. I am now 211.2.
I am so excited! Whoever thought that weight loss could be accomplished so easily with such a simple adjustment? What I notice the most is that my appetite has decreased (portion size has decreased), and that I seem to sometimes actually *crave* healthy foods.
Other than that, I have not changed a thing. I have not changed the kinds of foods I eat really (besides the occasional anachronistic yearning for carrots), have not switched to low-fat or low-carb replacements, have not weighed or measured a thing!
