I discovered a small wart on the knuckle of my ring finger on the left
hand recently.
As I read on the website that by soaking a cotton ball in apple cider
vinegar and applying it to the wart overnight fastened by a band-aid,
the ward would go away.
I did this for 3 nights. On the third night, I awoke in the morning
with a stinging feeling on my knuckle. I removed the band-aid. My
finger around the soaked cotton ball was red, and looked burned, but
the wart was GONE.
It took several days for the skin on my finger to return to normal.
Several weeks later the wart has not returned!!

I am equal parts amazed and ABSOLUTELY delighted. I had read most of
the testimonials on here before starting the treatment, so am not
entirely surprised this has worked. But I am sooooooo HAPPY.
Apple Cider Vinegar Kills Warts!!
Newsflash.
The lies they sell in the Pharmacy!
The $250 Aldara nonsense that was prescribed to me by a Doctor!
About 2 years ago I noticed a couple of little warts pop up on the side
of my left foot. No big deal I thought, you had to really look to see
them and they were small. I figured I pop down the pharmacy get
something that kills them and that would be it.
So I bought one of the Salicyclic acid bottles and religiously painted
the little spots twice a day. One month became four and I realized as I
finished off the bottle that these warts were getting bigger. Not much
bigger, but the acid was messing up the skin and making it puff up and
out like a volcano, so they definitely looked worse.
So I moved on to a Freeze treatment.....no joy. It took me another
freeze purchase to realize this wasn't working either. So the warts
stayed. They weren't pretty, but they weren't that big or noticeable.
Next up, the Duct Tape method.
Read about it on the net, figured it would DEFINITELY work with
perseverance.
Started covering the warts in duct tape every night, and then just kept
them duct taped all the time. No respite, they got covered all the time
to the point were my skin around them got really irritated and grotty.
But the warts wouldn't go...they were definitely getting worse.
Recommenced a Salicyclic acid treatment and suddenly the wart started
to appear on the TOP of my foot like a little cauliflower and grew to
the width of a golf ball. I kid you not.
I went to an "expert" and got prescribed Aldara. Followed the
instructions religiously but I could see after 2 or 3 days nothing was
changing. Finished the 10 day treatment...no change for a few days and
then BOOM the warts get bigger and nastier looking. Suddenly its on my
left toe and then... ARGH!! ...on the sole of my right foot. I spent
the summer avoiding swimming pools and couldn't take my double-socked
my foot during any romantic encounters.
It must be my diet...my immune system I thought. I read about warts
every day...they last roughly 7 years...OMG... NOOOOOOO...7 years...I
can't spend the next 7 years with this alien thing growing on me. By
now it looked like surgery wouldn't even be a option...if they cut out
the wart I would surely need a skin graft. It was HUGE and grotesque
and I had tried everything and I was horrified and depressed every time
I looked at it.
I came across the ACV treatment a couple of times in my reading but
thought .."no way", this one is way to tough for any "natural"
treatment...I need something radioactive.
Then I came across this site...I read the first testimonial, then the
second, third...all the way down. I couldn't believe it had worked for
so many people. And there were one or two on here that seemed like they
were at least as bad as mine.I actually put off doing it for a bit
cause I couldn't stand another failure and if i left it alone for a
while it definitely wasn't as bad as when reacting to some treatment.
But then it started to spread up another toe and I thought OMG its
going to take over my whole foot and I am wearing two socks for the
rest of my life. I envied people in flip flops and bare feet...I wore
shoes and socks the whole summer when outside.
I started the ACV.
Vinegar, Cotton balls, duct tape.
Soaked cotton balls, duct taped onto warts before bedtime.
Didn't sleep much the first night, it wasn't exactly painful but it was
certainly uncomfortable.
The stink of vinegar in the bedroom and off my foot was pretty nasty,
this was going to be a tough few months...but if that's what it took,
then that's what I was going to do.
The next night I applied everything again but halfway through the night
I had to pull everything off because i couldn't sleep from the pain. It
was SORE! Maybe that's a good sign, I thought.
I couldn't sleep with the pain, so, for about 2 weeks I would tape on
the cotton balls first thing in the morning and keep them on for as
long as I could. Sometimes that might be a couple of hours, sometimes
the entire day. Every three of four days I took a break.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing, there was DEFINITELY an
improvement. I dared HOPE!!
Game on!!
For another week I showered first thing, let my foot dry and then
filed/sanded the area with a pumice stone as much as possible. Every
day there was less and less wart until it seems to be gone!! I have
calloused skin where the war was but the wart seems to be GONE!!!
I really can't believe this has worked...and worked so quickly!!
HA yes!!!!
THANK YOU APPLE CIDER VINEGAR!
You will forever hold a special place in my cupboard!

I am currently in my first year of High School. Anyone that has been
through High School knows that it's very tough and you are constantly
judged and constantly judging others.
I developed a fairly large wart on my wrist on my left hand. It was
extremely embarrassing! Stating off at a new school with hundreds of
new people! It was terrible as I developed it in late September. As if
making friends isn't hard enough, I now had this huge wart on my wrist!
I was extremely embarrassed of it and tried to hide it as much as
possible. Everyday, I would wear a hoodie the entire day. It would
cover my wrist and therefore, hide the wart. I would wear a hoodie even
on the hottest days. Sometimes I would forget my hoodie and the wart
remained visible for all. The most embarrassing part is when people
ask:"What's on your wrist?" and the truth would be: "Oh, this? This
just a blood-sucking parasite also know as a wart!"... not the best way
to make friends... So I would just reply, "I honestly don't know!" and
they would leave you alone. I would constantly pick at it during
classes too and people would see me. The worst part was I have P.E.
every morning which means I can't wear my hoodie. People would look and
I would act like I didn't know what they're looking at.
I tried so many things to get rid of it! Salicylic, oregano oil, banana
peel, duck tape! Nothing worked! I turned to ACV just as I waited for
my scheduled doctors appointment to arrive and I could have it frozen
off.
I was amazed at how fast and relatively painlessly it worked! it's day
3 now and the wart is becoming black! In 3 days, I have gotten more
progress than 3 months of salicylic acid! This definitely works! The
pain isn't very bad. Its just has a slight stinging feeling for a few
hours but that's it! The results are well worth it!

THANK YOU FOR THIS SITE!!! And for everyone who took the time to
testify so positively and thoroughly about your personal ACV treatment!
You've encouraged me to stick to it for round 2.
I'm 23 years old, and I originally heard of this method by watching a
video online of a girl who applied ACV to a q-tip end, and wrapped it
with a band-aid at night. But during the day, she covered it over with
nail polish. I AM SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE DISCOVERED HERE YOU DON'T NEED
NAIL POLISH!
I tried that method including nail polish on two warts on my fingers.
One on my middle finger, and one on my index finger (I think the index
caught it from the middle, because the two evil warts happily collide
together far too perfectly). I'm here to tell you that the method that
includes nail polish is effective, but imagine trying to sleep at night
with your finger THROBBING, and then after not sleeping well having to
get up an hour early to take bandage off, apply your polish, and sit
around waiting for it to dry before you shower. It gets very old,
especially when you have to get up early already for work.
But anyway, my warts did turn black and I did get two huge craters. But
the video was not helpful at explaining aftercare of continuing ACV for
a week to keep it away after the black peels off. So the smaller one on
my index finger is like a 4th of it's original size.
My middle finger wart is/was DEEP, and I stopped treating it for like a
week because it hurt SO BAD, and I was concerned about infection,
especially where I have no health care available to me, so I gave it
opportunity for irritated skin to heal itself. So I was starting to get
very discouraged when I realized both of my warts were not gone after 2
weeks of treatment w/ polish during day.
But then I went back online to see if I was doing something wrong, or
if there was a better way. A lot of the comments on the ACV w/ nail
polish treatment video were negative (maybe 1/3-1/2 of them were
positive), but I think it's because the instructions were too vague,
and EVERYONE suffering from ugly warts wants them gone so badly,
they're quick to complain if a treatment doesn't work.
I have yet to find a negative testimony here, so tonight I begin round
2 of ACV treatment! This time there will be no irritating nail polish,
and if I can stand the pain on my middle finger, I'll try to keep ACV
on 24/7 (until I see black, then I'll only do it at night). My index
finger currently feels nothing, but I think it's because that wart is
excitingly pitiful and puny in size. I really hope this works, but
everyone else's testimony gives me true hope and confidence that it
will! :)

I've had a wart on my right index finger right next to the finger nail
for almost two years. I wasn't even sure it was a wart until recently.
I came across the ACV treatment and thought I would give it a
try. I started by putting in on a piece of cotton and using a band-aid
to hold it in place at night.
The pain woke me and I had to remove the band-aid. Right away the wart
started turning black though. I started just using the ACV for a couple
hours in the evening. It HURT, but it was working.
After a week the wart was almost completely gone! It turned black and I
picked it off. I continued the treatment for several weeks to remove
the rest of the wart and to make sure it didn't come back.
The wart is gone and my finger looks great! It did hurt, but was
definitely worth it!!!

I tried this treatment on two warts (that caused the spread of many
other warts). It worked very well, but being 13 I still have a hard
time dealing with pain.
I had to skip a few nights of it hear and there but those warts are
totally gone.
I would do it with the tons of other warts I have covering fingers, but
I want to make sure that there isn't another remedy that is less
painful.

I came on here just last night and found this article and read every
single one of your reviews before I gave it a shot, I was amazed that I
didn't feel any pain whatsoever and by the time I woke up it had turned
both gray and black and fell off easily, I'll continue to put the ACV
on the area for a few days but I just wanted to thank you!!!

My 6 year old son had 8 plantar warts on his right foot. We realized he
had them because at his swimming lesson he was limping.
When we took him to see a GP he recommended a very expensive cream
($154) that needed to be applied at night. The treatment lasted 6
months and the cream had to be purchased every 2 weeks, so imagine how
expensive this was going to be. However, the GP told us that it might
not work anyway.
We took him to see a pediatrician the same day for something else and
asked him about the plantar warts... He had no idea how to treat them
so he suggested we should listen to the GP.
At home that night we prayed for God to help us find an
inexpensive/fast way to treat the warts. And I found this site.
I called my husband and told him to buy some ACV on his way home.
We started applying the vinegar at night. We taped the piece of cotton
with ACV to his foot with masking tape.
We repeated this every night and without any pain... after exactly 2
weeks the warts had all fallen off!
We praise God for his wonderful miracle and we thank this site for the
information provided :)

I've had a wart on my middle finger of my left hand for about 2 1/2
years now. It is/was only 3mm or so in diameter, and perfectly round,
so it wasn't too unsightly, but I was still a little self-conscious
about it.
I heard it would just drop off in time, but a couple of months ago I
noticed a tiny plantar on my heel, and freaked out. I decided that I
need to get rid of them so they don't spread any more.
I started the treatment on my finger a couple of days/nights ago. I've
been mostly doing the 24hr method, taking a break every now and again
to let the healthy skin air out.
1) If you can find waterproof band-aids, use them. I don't have many,
and I don't want to use them all, so I've been alternating with fabric
band-aids...the only problem is that the cotton dries out quicker.
2) Be sure to vaseline the skin around the wart. Most of my pain has
come from the surrounding healthy skin that has been ACV'ed...ouch.
3) I have an incredibly low pain threshold (I also faint easily. I
almost passed out when I saw the black wart! haha), so I wanted to do
anything to avoid freezing it...granted burning it off with acid isn't
exactly a less terrifying thought...but the pain has been minimal. Even
I can tolerate it! Although, I think the worst part is yet to come...
It's now...day 5 or so of the treatment...the wart turned black after
the first 24hrs, and had flattened considerably. So SUCCESS!
It's yet to scab, and yet to fall off. And I don't think I can stand
the ACV on again tonight (the surrounding skin is hurting a bit from
where the last cotton ball was too big). But I have confidence that
this treatment will work. Beats spending $30 on Dr Scholl's!
If this works well, I'm going to start right away on my plantar. It's
tiny, but starting to bother me when I walk.

This is fantastic!
I have been using the ACV on my wart situated on the tip of my pointing
finger for 10 days now and the wart finally fell off today.
It was one painful experience or I should say I have a very low
tolerance for pain.
The wart turned brown after 5 day of ACV use and gradually became
black. I should have dug around it sooner but I hesitated out of fear
to hurt my self more but what I didn't know by not digging on it or
around it is that it was already dead and rotting under the dark layer.
The pain had changed from throbbing to like a wound-like kind of pain.
This morning I tried to dig around it and there was a lot of pus
beneath the black layer this is what was causing so much pain. Right
now I removed the layer and cleaned it and there is just a hole left
with a thick skin wall around it.
At first I was worried if my finger got infected and if I should go to
the emergency but I think i will be fine.
So I will continue ACV for 2 to 3 more days out of fear that the wart
is not all gone or will come back.
I want to thank all of you who took their time to share this extremely
wonderful experience of wart removal " though painful" it was the least
expensive that i had to use, i have used a lot of money on different
dermatologist specialists!!
Just a remark though to the team that put this up is that you could add
to the remedy is what to do with the hole after the wart is off.

I had a wart cluster frozen by a doctor about 3 weeks ago. A week
after, it had a small area which peeled off, leaving a cluster still
intact.
I came across this page by accident, and have finished 4 nights of
using this technique. Sometimes there is a needle like pain, but it's
manageable. After 2 days, the wart cluster started turning black. It's
now about 80% black.
I hope to continue the treatment to ultimate success, but it's truly
amazing.
One little hint, put the cotton on the wart dry, put on the bandage,
then drip the ACV onto the cotton. It makes it much easier to place and
securely attach. I have also noted the bandage may act to wick away
some of the liquid, so I often apply a few extra drops.

I have looked at many different wart treatments available and have used
several OTC treatments.
I have had mixed results with these treatments.
I came online and saw many people boasting about how well ACV worked
for removing their warts. Of course I was highly skeptical, but figured
what the heck, I'd try it out.
I have had issues with trying to keep the cotton balls/rolled up paper
towels in place, but it's only been a couple days and I've already
started seeing drastic results.
Most of the warts are turning black and have reduced in size by quite a
bit, the other have reduced in size some, but no black...these are the
ones that I struggle to keep the cotton balls in contact with.
Anyways, I can definitely see what all the hype is about. This does
work!!!

I think its about time I added my experiences here. I discovered the
benefits of ACV in treating warts through this website and others about
a year ago, and subsequently used it to treat a wart on the back of my
hand, and one on the hand of my girlfriend successfully and with no
pain.
But the real struggle is not with these ordinary raised, circular
warts, but one that lives on the end of my index finger, right below
the nail on the tip.
I have attempted treatment of this particular fiend 3 times prior, all
with positive looking results but only to have the wart grow back,
quickly and each time slightly larger.
I want to include as much information as possible, as this wart, I
believe a periungual wart, is highly resistant to this treatment, and
for it to work the sufferer must persist with treatment for lot longer
period of time. I believe my problem in the past has been stopping once
I assumed the wart was dead, whilst only really destroying the outer
growth.
The process has gone in a similar manner each time. I band-aid a piece
of cotton wool soaked in ACV to my finger tip, during the day. over the
first days small black dots appear. The second and following days more
dots appear and the grow hard. I file this down with a nail file and
reapply, until the skin appears smooth. I usually stop after the third
or forth day believing the wart conquered and at first fresh clean skin
grows back, but after a week or so the wart shows it has not been
killed.
This time I will persist for much much longer. I will keep filing and
applying the cotton for at least 2 weeks. I have also started leaving
my finger suspended in a solution of ACV and water at as hot a
temperature I can stand for several hours each night. I will continue
this until there is no doubt in my mind the wart is dead. But onto the
most important bit of all this. The pain.
It hurts. Whereas the warts on the back of my hand for me and my
girlfriend were painless, this wart is located in a position with many
nerve endings. Our fingers are built to be sensitive and our index more
so than most. The pain shoots up my arm, and i can feel the throbbing
stabbing pain, for an hour or so even after the bandage is removed. As
I file down to deeper levels the pain increases. I take the strongest
painkiller available without a perscription and I am not even sure it
takes the edge off.
I am not scared of pain, 25 year old male, broke multiple bones earlier
this year, and have injured myself a fair bit during my life. Nothing
compares to this. I struggle through it and force myself to leave
band-aids on as long as possible, and usually get 7-8hours before
succumbing. Impossible to try at night, disrupts sleep.
If you have one of these terrible warts in such a location. I feel for
you all, I truly believe that persistence is the key though, and if you
get it right the first time, you wont have to go through 4-5 attempts
of this, with the pain each time. Do it right the first time.

I had a growth that originally I'd diagnosed as a mole, growing on my
forehead. Over years, this grew gradually until it split into two and I
had double trouble sitting there.
I was concerned, given the prevalence of skin cancer these days, so I
went to the doctor. He said no, it wasn't anything other than a
separated wart.
By now, the thing was pretty nasty looking and itched, so I
investigated how to get rid of it. Internet research led me to organic
cider vinegar (OCV), so I thought nothing ventured, nothing gained.
In the morning, I moistened a cotton wool swab in OCV, and covered the
wart with it, holding the whole thing in place with some adhesive
bandage strip. Ok, it stung a bit but wasn't anywhere near as painful
as I was expecting. I repeated his every morning after shower, leaving
it on 24 hours till re-applying.
After a week or so, the wart had swollen and as I washed it one
morning, pieces came away, leaving just a trace underneath. This went
on for a few days, until I now have all the ugly dark brown top off,
and only a few small raised pieces of pale matter remaining.
I am very impressed, to say the least with this remedy...it's cost me
about £1.50. I'll keep applying it until the skin is as normal as
possible.
If you have warts, it's well worth suspending any disbelief and trying
OCV. My forehead was adorned for well over 15 years by the unwelcome
growth, and I can only endorse the use of organic cider vinegar.

I have to admit I was very skeptical of using apple cider vinegar to
get rid of my warts. I would never normally write a testimonial either,
but only days after using it to deal with some persistent (and
multiplying) warts on my left hand I am so impressed that I feel I am
compelled to write in.
This really does work! And as mentioned above, it is cheap, quick,
relatively easy and it only hurts a little (so far).
I have dealt with warts my whole life. I had a little one near the top
of my left wrist/lower thumb for many years, and I never had any
dramas. I even felt compelled to name it (Chloe), it was such a big
part of me. It wasn't until a doctor six years ago during a routine
mole check thought I would like it burnt off with dry ice.
This was all good and well, and I healed with a small scar, but it
eventually came back. With friends. I hopped from doctor to doctor over
the years, experimenting with soldering irons (OUCH! Huge scar),
salicylic acid, banana peels, raw steaks, picking at them, filing them,
nail polish, being nice to them, ignoring them, medicated discs, and
finally, three days ago, apple cider vinegar.
Already, I have witnessed the tops fall off the newer warts. And I can
see the others shrinking. I will continue to use this procedure, and
have been telling everyone I know that all along I just needed to look
in the pantry for a solution.
FYI. It will make your wart smell, and the pain isn't too bad. My
surrounding skin is a little irritated, but it's nothing compared to
the pain and scars I have accumulated from trying other ways.
This is the only way! Thank you Apple Cider Vinegar!

on her knee than I have ever seen.
It covered her knee entirely and really ugly,,tried several things
including having a very painful freezing of it from a skin doctor,,,it

Next tried vinegar,,,,she complained it hurt but the threat of going

It worked and took less than a month.

I had a large planter wart from when I was very young which I believe I
picked up from the local swimming pool. Over the last 20 years I have
tried everything to get rid of it.
Last year a colleague who also suffered the same problem under went
surgery to remove hers as a last resort and spent the next few weeks on
crutches. In desperation not to have to undergo the same procedure, I
one day googled home remedies to see if I could find another solution.
It is worth noting here just how large this planter was and had found
its home on the ball of my foot - very painful. It was 20 years old and
had with stood every treatment imaginable.
I started with ACV as discussed on these pages, soaking cotton wool and
a band-aid. I slept that way every night but had to remove it in the
morning as it was impossible to have anything on the ball of my foot to
walk on all day. Some nights I would wake in the middle of the night
and tear the band-aid off as it was so painful but I persisted until
the roots turned black.
This went on for weeks and I must admit I lost hope a few times but you
could see that slowly and surely the roots were blackening and the wart
dying. I then traveled over seas and couldn't keep up the routine for 3
weeks, and in that time it looked like it was coming back worse than
ever and I remember thinking that it was same as when I started BUT
then veraciously it just started closing up and slowing, over the
coming month it closed up altogether.
It is an amazing home remedy and I have been telling everyone ever
since. If I had known earlier it would have saved a lot of anguish over
the years.
Try it and persevere and it WILL WORK!

First day trying this method...been about 12 hours on and no pain yet,
going to try to do the 24/7 technique and hope for the best!
Been battling a few of these buggers on the same area (about 1/2 square
inch) for 9 years now, had them cut out, burned off, and
frozen. Each time they went away, but came back.
Very excited to see if this is more effective, lower cost, and a bit
less painful. Only question I have, a number of folks mention
"picking" at theirs after a few days...what are they referring
to? Filing down or actual picking with something like a
clippers to cut of the layers?
Thanks for the great web site and forum!!!

Recently (yesterday, to be exact) I started using the ACV treatment on
it whenever I can. Its personally painful to me, but that's different
for every person. I'll keep it on as long as I can, and when I can't
take the pain anymore, I give it a break.
I tried sleeping with it on, but it didn't work out too well. After 36
hours or so (maybe less) the wart is already turning black, dying, and
reducing in size.
Now I've figured out my personal plan if you can't take the pain at
night. I keep the vinegar on as long as I can, and when bedtime comes
around, I turn to the clear nail polish and tape treatment.
Tonight is the first night I'm doing this. I put 3-4 coats of polish on
the wart, and I cover it religiously with several pieces of medical
tape. Its still uncomfortable, but not as bad as the ACV.
In the morning I plan on going back to the ACV and doing this at night.
I'm hoping one morning I'll wake up, and pull the tape off with the
wart out of my foot. I'll post again when something worth mentioning
happens. :)

I tried this a while ago but only half heartedly and didn't get the
desired results.
My wart is on the palm of my right hand just below the gap between my
middle and ring fingers. It is quite small, grayish-white and
kind of like hard skin but it already had the black dots showing in it
from time to time. Maybe it is still weak from the first time
(about a year ago) and the salisylic acid treatment (compound w) that
never worked.
Also, I could only find the vinegar in 1 shop out of a whole shopping
centre, and it was called just 'cider vinegar' no mention of apple, but
wiki tells me it is the same thing. I hope it's right.
I've only just started the acv treatment yesterday, here is how it is
going so far.
Day 1. I washed it, then soaked a piece of cotton wool,
squeezed a bit out just so the plaster would not get wet before I even
put it on. I placed it on the wart, and put the
plaster(English for band aid :)) on it and went to bed. After
12 hours, I took it off and it was white and puffy - how I remembered
it going last time. Then I replaced the cotton wool with
fresh stuff, soaked in vinegar, and re-plastered it.
Day 2 (today) I took the plaster off and it was like a yellowish brown
colour - not too different to the colour of the actual vinegar, so I am
not sure if it is giving up the ghost or just been stained from the
vinegar. I can't remember if it went like this last
time. This one is due for replacement in about 5-6 hours.
So far, no pain, it has never caused me pain, even the salicylic acid
never burnt me. I am determined to stick it out this time, so
I will update this if I can. I have also started on one of a
cluster of 3 small ones around my right ring finger knuckle.
I started it today, I can't do the 3 together because I would not be
able to bend my finger, and I hate that. I hope it is done by
Christmas, I hate shaking hands with people with an arced/cupped hand
in case people feel it.
Update:
November 24, 2010
Hi, - Anthony from England. This is an update.
After trying 24/7 for 3 days, I went to 12 hours a day, simply because
it is easier, and less intrusive on daily activities. I wear
a plaster over the soaked cotton wool, then a sports injury tape which
is pretty poor, but I can get by. After 12 hours (sometimes a
few hours less)I just put a small plaster over it.
Day 3 and most of day 4, it was just raised and greenish/yellow/brown
coloured, with a large disc of bright pink, soft skin around
it. However, by the end of day 4, it was reduced quite a bit,
and looked a deep maroon in the middle.
Now - Day 5, it is just black in the middle, and a bit red around the
outside, I can see it is definitely on its last legs, and I'm just
waiting now for it to fall out. I will refrain from trying to
force it out for as long as I can.
Pain? some minor stinging from time to time, and some slight throbbing,
but really nothing more than just a bit annoying. Certainly
would not (and has not) disturb my sleep.
It should also be noted that I have started taking Vitamin C tablets to
boost my immune system, as I don't eat a lot of fruit or veg.
I don't know if that is speeding it up or not, but at least I will be a
bit healthier. I just wish I'd tried this years ago, and
before the compound w treatment.

Boy am I excited to be posting on here!
After having a lovely plantar wart on my foot for nearly 16 years, oy!
I finally decided I was sick of it being there and decided to start
using the apple cider vinegar.
I had tried before but wasn't very successful. I realized the problem
was that I was using too large of a piece of cotton and it wasn't
staying put.
This has taken about two months and it's pretty much all gone. Tonight,
the skin all the way around the wart fell off, woo hoo!
In terms of advice, when it got SUPER painful, I started putting ONLY
duct tape on during the day time and put the apple cider vinegar back
on during the evening and through the night. It seemed silly to be in
that much pain. It did take a little longer doing it this way but it
DID work. If I could tolerate a little more ACV, every now and then I
wore it through the day as well, just not on a daily basis.
This definitely works as everyone else has said and mine was SO
stubborn, plus it's been there for ages! I kind of wish I had tried
this sooner. Mine never shrunk in size, but as more layers were burnt
off from the ACV, the smoother it's gotten. So don't get discouraged if
it hasn't gotten much smaller. It will eventually completely dry up and
fall off!

Just as most have said, this treatment does work...and works extremely
well.
HOWEVER PLEASE READ...
here are a few tips I would like to share with everyone that helped me
a lot and I hope works for you as well, if it applies:
..first, duct tape is where it's at. Soak a torn piece of cotton ball,
gauze, napkin, what have you in ACV and apply it to the wart overnight,
but using duct tape has two major advantages:
(1. It's duct tape, of course! (which means it's awesome when it comes
to adhesiveness and will keep the ACV from leaking out from the
affected area overnight)
(2. It's ok to place a band aid over your ACV soaked wart, but I had
trouble keeping the band aid on by itself because it's not as sticky as
good old duct tape.
It's ok to put a band aid over the wart and then duct tape over it if
you like...but duct tape adhesive can cause irritation on other parts
of skin...if it gets really bad, use more band aid or maybe skip a
night.
Second...keep up treatment at least for a week. I saw the wart turn
completely black, dug that part out with a needle and saw the "freshly
healed crater". It was gone for awhile which was awesome...but after I
saw that I initially thought it was gone for good and came back after a
few weeks. KEEP UP TREATMENT at least for a week after you see the
healed skin.
ALSO... if you have multiple warts close to each other, place Vaseline
on the surrounding unaffected skin using a q-tip to protect it from the
ACV. Many say Vaseline, but any petroleum will do as I used Neosporin
(or equivalent)just make sure none is on the wart(s).
Keep at it as much as you can. Well worth it!

I am writing in a state of flabbergasted disbelief at how well this has
worked!
Some background: I had mosaic plantar warts on both feet for years.
Sought medical help two years ago and underwent the gamut of
treatments: salicylic acid (liquid and later pads), duct
tape, clear nail polish, liquid nitrogen freezings, Candida injections
(horrible˜the most painful medical procedure I've ever undergone), and
finally Aldara. Nothing worked, and some treatments even seemed to
stimulate the warts to spread.
I began ACV treatment on October 13, 2010, following the instructions
above. I began by treating my right foot only. Within three
days, the warts turned black; I could see the blood vessels darkening
as they absorbed the ACV. After a week they dried up
completely, at which time I could debride them with a file.
The skin around them turned white and puffy and became sensitive, while
the warts fell off entirely after between one and two weeks of
treatment.
But the most incredible thing is that the warts on my *left* foot have
also darkened and fallen off, which suggests that the ACV is not just
treating the individual warts, but also stimulating my immune system to
attack the underlying virus systemically. I haven't done a
thing to my left foot, but this morning five warts on my left sole just
fell off!
Unbelievable.
Some tips for people trying this. It works best if you file
down the warts before applying ACV; you want the vinegar to reach the
warts as directly as possible. The ACV hurts like the
dickens, but stick it out. If the skin around the warts
becomes inflamed or irritated, it's OK to skip a few days and resume
treatment once it feels better. Pausing actually seems to
help the process, since your skin has some time to recover and that
aids your immune system in attacking the wart. Finally, once
the warts are gone, you'll be left with dry rough yellow
skin. File that away over several days to reveal the new,
healthy skin below.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this website. MERCI BEAUCOUP!!!!!!!

I started using this product line they offered at pharmacy for wart
removal and it went well but a small bottle of it wouldn't last for
long once you opened it. It dried out within few days after.
Then my friend suggested me to start using ACV as an alternative so I
went through this website and tried to follow what others recommended
on treating warts.
I started off by treating my common warts first. I had two warts at the
same place of both my pinky fingers. I was surprised to realize that
along the process, it doesn't hurt at all while others said that the
process would probably hurt a bit. It took me only few weeks to remove
the first wart of my right-hand pinky finger.
Remember when they said to continue doing it for at least another week
right after the wart is removed? Well I couldn't agree more because I
had a hard time trying to treat the same wart again. Too happy that a
cheap solution worked on this that I simply just stopped doing it when
I finally realized that the root is still there and it's growing after
a few weeks. Only then the process caused me quite a painful one (take
this from someone who enjoy picking at her acne and calls it a feeling
of "satisfaction"). So the lesson learned here is that DO CONTINUE TO
TREAT YOUR WART FOR A WEEK AFTER ITS REMOVAL.
After those common warts are gone, I continued with my plantar warts.
Mind you that there's this one (which I'm still treating on right now)
that is a very serious one, beginning from a small wart, turned out to
be like a plant that gave rise to her baby plants around it. This is
actually the result of me, stop treating it right after the wart
removal product I got from the pharmacy went dry. Again, the same
lesson to NOT TO STOP TREATING YOUR WART WHEN YOU ALREADY STARTED. So
it has been 3months since I started treating this plantar wart and only
today I had been able to peel of my very 1st layer of the wart. Now, at
least the "mummy" is gone so I'm left with the babies.
Conclusion is, anybody out there who suffers even with a very serious
wart should try this.

I have had a wart the size of a penny on the end of my right middle
finger for about 30 years.
It reaches right under the nail. I have tried various remedies (
freezing, Dr Scholls etc) and nothing has worked.
On November 1, came across this site and am now trying the
remedy. The first night of ACV applied with a band-aid
holding the cotton ball, I felt a bit of pain at first but after a
couple of hours it went away. In the morning a white puffy appearance
and a few very small black dots.
Second night a lot of pain, so much that it kept me a awake off and on
most of the night, but I hung in there...and in the morning about half
the wart had turned black.
Tonight I put the ACV and band-aid on right after I got home and it is
not as sore as last night, just some throbbing.
I am cautiously optimistic that this is going to work, it certainly has
the wart's attention!
Thanks for all the encouraging experiences recounted here and I will
keep you posted on the latest chapter in...." The Death of a Wart"
Cheers, Alan

I was extremely skeptical when I saw ACV as yet another "miracle cure"
for warts.
I'd tried the duct tape, salicylic acid, "at-home" freeze treatments.
Nothing worked. I have 2 very small plantar warts on the bottom of my
left heel; they've been there for about 5 years, never really bothered
me, but I'd rather get rid of them so they don't spread all over my
foot. I decided to try ACV since I didn't really want to go get them
cut out of my foot at the doctor.
I started with the ACV on a piece of a cotton makeup-removal pad, kept
on my heel 24/7 with a band-aid. I changed the cotton about every 12
hours.
1 day after start - No noticeable change, except I smelled like ACV...
2 days - Slight stinging if I put all of my weight on my left heel, but
other than that, not painful at all. Wart just started to turn grayish.
3-6 days - Wart very dark black/brown. Still not painful, just wear a
comfortable pair of shoes and you'll be fine. I started picking at the
black part with some tweezers, but it still didn't want to detach from
my foot.
1 week - I got out of the shower today and went to put a new band-aid
and cotton on the wart. Today was more painful than before, but still
not that bad. I used my fingernails to scratch off some of the dead
skin around the wart, and a large section that had been in contact with
the ACV actually came off - about 1 square inch around the wart, and
about as thick as a standard pencil lead. It didn't hurt at all, and
now the skin is level with the wart. At this point, I was able to pull
the remaining black piece out with tweezers, and I think I got the core
because there's a tiny little crater in the healthy tissue under the
wart. I'm going to keep ACV on it for at least a few more days until
the edges of the wart crater are gone.
In conclusion - you have absolutely nothing to lose, just try it. It
may take longer for some people, and I'm sure some people will have
more pain than I did (mine was about as bad as a blister, at the
worst), but for the amount of money and effort required, it's an
amazingly effective fix. I was expecting a lot more pain from what I
had read on here, but even keeping it on 24 hours a day, I did not have
any pain that disrupted my day - this included hiking, walking to and
from class all day, and several hours of horseback riding in extremely
uncomfortable riding boots. Definitely worth trying :)

I was using Compound W for 2 weeks. It was eating away at the healthy
skin to get closer to the wart but it wasn't doing anything to the wart.
Once I got to the wart I was at a stand still. I would have
to painfully cut it out or pull it out. I tried cutting with
a small twizzer cutter as much as possible but It would constantly
bleed if I tried doing anything that seemed productive. I
didn't want to freeze the wart because that seems to always lead to a
blister.
Since it's on the bottom of my foot, and I have to go to work, I
couldn't have a blister. Well I decided to go online and
learn how others deal with this. I found this page and was
very hopeful.
I cut a cotton ball into pieces that were the size of the wart, soaked
it in the ACV, put it over the wart and put a bandaid on top.
I've been doing this every night for 6 days now. It's crazy
how well it's working. I almost thought the wart was going to
come out last night.
Each night after I shower, I use a clean small knife edge to scrape off
the dead skin. I use the knife edge to brush over the skin
and it shows you were the layers of dead skin are. I peal
those away and it just seems to work like a charm.
Each day there is black stuff on top of the mole and I'm not sure what
that is, but it's easily removed. I put move ACV on and in
the morning there's more of that black stuff on top of the
wart. Is that the wart and I'm just removing some of it every
day? I don't know, but I'm taking pictures of it each night
and I'll be posting them later. They're gross, but it'll show
you how fast it's been working on a deep plantar wart.
Mine hasn't been hurting like the others though, yet. This is
surely the way to go.

Tried freezing it, but that didn't work. I've been using ACV

Ibuprofen didn't help much. If you experience a lot of pain I would

Apple Cider Vinegar helped me too.
It took some time. I did my first treatment for a month but I guess I
stopped too early. I felt that it is not completely gone. Then I
noticed that it is coming back.
I repeated the treatment and second time it was like people are
describing here. It turned black and was soon gone. I touch my skin and
feel that nothing is there. Now it is for sure gone.
Guys, it works! Be patient! Repeat treatment if you have to.
By the way, daytime I did not use vinegar but still covered affected
place with bandage. I think it helps too.
Thank you for your advices!

I have been using Apple Cider Vinegar on a cotton ball with duck tape
for 3 months.
I apply it at night and wear until the morning. I then let my foot air
out all day. The wart is falling off slowly, but I have had this for
many years.
Some days it was really painful. I think it is just about gone. I will
keep applying it until it is gone completely. This is the
only thing that has worked. I have tried duck tape, freezing (over the
counter), freezing at the Doctor's office twice, and this finger nail
polish stuff.
Can't wait until they are all gone. Thank you apple cider vinegar.

After months of other treatments and pain, (yes my warts hurt because
of where on my fingers they are) I came across this website.
I took cotton balls which I already had and soaked them in the apple
cider vinegar and duct taped them on. I only did it at night because of
the smell and within days the wart turned brown and then black. It was
almost as if the wart was working its way out from under my skin. You
could see the darker spots were raised above the skin somewhat.
Eventually it all turned black and fell off, leaving a hole where it
had been.
I started treating it October 1st and by the 14th it was completely
gone. I treated for about an extra 7 days from when the center fell
off. I could not be happier it is gone.
The entire treatment cost me less than a dollar for the vinegar and
worked better than all the other more expensive treatments I had
purchased. I should say it is painful. There were 2 nights that I woke
up because my thumb was throbbing and the 2nd of those nights it was
extremely painful under my thumb nail which was odd because the wart
was no where near my nail.
As I said before my warts are painful because of where on fingers they
are so to me two nights of extreme pain and throbbing was so worth it.
I am very grateful for the cure and the website and hopefully will
never need to use the vinegar again but if i do get another wart this
will be my 1st treatment.

I'm adding my comments here because people need to know that this does
work ... and well. I don't normally believe in such remedies
but this certain does it.
I had a small wart (maybe 2mm in diameter) on the bottom of my foot
that bothered me occasionally when I walked. I decided to
clear it up with some Compound-W. The pain started within a
week and the wart continued to grow in size. In July I
visited my doctor who applied the liquid nitrogen to it and within 2
weeks the size of the wart had grown to 10mm and 11 smaller warts
exploded around it. The pain to walk was unbearable.
In September I visited a dermatologist who gave me some Duofilm and
said...try this and in 2 weeks come back and I'll cut it out.
One week into this treatment and the warts were getting bigger with 2
of the smaller ones were growing to 3-4mm and the "mother wart" was
getting even bigger. I was ready to cut my feet
off. I was looking on line trying to find out how long to
leave the duct tape on for and discovered this site on September
30. On my way home from work I got some cotton balls and
apple cider vinegar.
I put the cotton balls on 24 hours per day. It was terribly
painful for the first day, then excruciating at about day 14 to the
point I had to leave it off for a couple of nights. Within 1
day the two bigger satellite warts were dead and came out a couple of
days later. The "mother wart" took some filing with an emery
sponge and after 3 weeks of this the only thing left is a small 2mm
black spot and I think it will be gone within a day or two.
I've got a lot of dead flaking skin that looks pretty bad but the skin
looks fine unlike the diseased version 3 weeks ago.
I've been walking without pain now for 3 days. If you have a
plantar wart use this.. don't use the acid or nitrogen and risk having
it spread.

In case anyone reading this is skeptical of "home" or "folk" remedies
as I was, I just want to tell my story about doing battle with a pea
sized wart on the pad of my finger.
The wart was small when I first noticed it and I didn't treat it
initially, thinking it would go away on its own. It didn't
though, and after a few months I went to see a dermatologist for the
first of what would be dozens of professional treatments over the
course of six years.
Despite freezing, burning with some kind of acid that made my skin
balloon with a huge blister, and daily (sometimes 2x daily)
applications of Compound W, the wart only grew in size. I
tried the medicated bandages, and the at-home freeze off
canisters. I went through periods where I thought it was
hopeless and would stop treating it for a few months. At
times I wondered if my skin would heal at all from the destruction the
treatments was causing. I spent hundreds of dollars on
co-payments (at least I have insurance) and over the counter treatments.
Finally less than a week ago I decided to try apple cider
vinegar. I cut the end off a Q-tip, soaked it, and held it on
with a few strips of medical tape before going to bed. I
thought it would do little except make my finger stink. To my
surprise I found that it hurt quite a bit, and when I got up the next
day the skin under the cotton was puffy and white. I repeated
this procedure the next night, then skipped two nights where the
treatment would have been inconvenient. Even after skipping
two nights the wart turned completely black which I know means the
remedy is working.
The dermatologist explained to me that the black dots are capillaries
that were feeding the wart. Two nights of vinegar treatments
later and I have renewed hope for the first time in years that I really
can get rid of this thing. Last night it hurt a lot and this
morning it was pretty ugly when I first uncovered it. But
after a little while when it dried out the surrounding skin regained
its pink color and now it just looks like a scab.
The pain may disrupt my sleep for a few more nights, but I'm so
encouraged that I almost welcome the pain. It's not gone yet
but I believe it will only take a few days or weeks more. All
for the cost of a bottle of vinegar. I can't believe how much
frustration and inconvenience I've endured when the cure is so
simple. I would like to know why dermatologists don't
recommend this treatment, other than the fact that it doesn't earn them
any money.
Anyway, good luck to everyone reading this. And
congratulations to those who have already cured themselves.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!
I have had the worst plantar wart on the bottom of my foot that has
been ruining my life for the last 3 months. I am glad to say
that because of this site I was able to rid myself of it tonight!
I took a strip of paper towel, folded it to the size of the wart, and
then dipped it into apple cider vinegar, then placed it on the
wart. I then covered it with duct tape. I did this
in the morning, and then when i went to bed. In between
changings I would rub the wart with a pumice stone.
After trying everything else with no results, I wasn't expecting
much. But after the first night, it got all white and puffy.
Two weeks went by with not much else happening, and I took a break
after 5 days of doing this. Started back up again after a day
or two, at which point the vinegar started to burn. A couple
of days ago the pain got really intense. People were right,
this HURTS!!!!!!!!
Two nights ago I was woken up by the most intense, searing pain in my
foot. However when I woke up that morning the wart had turned
black! After two more days I was able to rub out the wart
with a pumice stone!! All that's left is the dead skin underneath now!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to write on here. I
lost faith in this method, but your comments kept me going, and it
worked!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!

I was at my wits end with the warts on my fingers. One was on the top
of my index finger and the other in the web of my middle and ring
finger. They were both gross and I hated them.
Well, I started off on my internet wart remedy search with the "super
glue" method...I tried that for a few days and it seemed to do what the
ACV is said to do, It started getting black dots in the center.
I found the ACV method and stopped the glue regime. I soaked the
bandage part of the band-aid in ACV and kept it on all night. At times,
it burned like fire. I would remove it in the morning and just wear a
clean band-aid all day. Then resume the ACV at night.
After about 2 weeks I had a big black scab that I didn't touch until
today. It came off with little effort and no pain. There is fresh pink
skin and a small little crater, but it looks like the wart is gone and
the surface is flat and smooth.

A few days ago I started the ACV treatment of applying a piece of
cotton wool soaked with Acv on the wart held in place with a band aid.
Like the others it turned white at first and I cut away the dead white

Its much smaller now but OMG the pain is out of this world. I am typing

I hope this works as this wart has been in my thoughts every day for so

it. So we tried this and nothing appeared to happen.
At the end of my tether I bought some Apple Cider Vinegar from a local
super market.
At this point I wasn't expecting much. I figured I'd have to
wait for nature to take it's cause.
So I applied the Apple Cider Vinegar that evening on a bit of cotton
wool and stuck it down with some medical tape. I didn't feel
a thing at first, it just smelt of vinegar.
The next morning I checked my wart and it had gone a sort of
greeny/yellow colour. I figured it was doing something so I
kept at it.
Within a 4 days I was able to peel some of the dead skin off.
I continued with the treatment which was starting to get a bit painful
(it throbbed and stung a bit when I was sitting but when I walked it
got very painful). At this point (about 6 days in) I took a
break for a day or so. I could now see large black dots on
the wart. Ii then started again with the treatment for a
couple of days and managed to remove more skin (it peeled off) and the
wart was then flat.
Finally after about 2 weeks I was able to remove the last bit of skin
with dots revealing fresh skin underneath. It's very red
around the affected area but the wart appears to be gone now (and I'm
not feeling any pain).
I still have nearly a whole bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar left over so
I'll be keeping this in case any more warts appear.
I'd say if you have a wart and you can't get shot of it, try Apple
Cider Vinegar, it worked wonders for me.

I have had around 10 ugly warts on my fingers for about a year or more.
I am very embarrassed about showing my hands and I get so frustrated
about my ugly hands that I cry! Kind of embarrassing! I am a teenager
and obviously for a teenager confidence is key and if I am honest, I
have no confidence, just because of my ugly fingers!
I am so fed up I decided to look on the internet for some cheap,
affordable home remedies. I stumbled across the ACV treatment, the
results sound fantastic so I rooted through the cupboard and found some
ACV.
I put it on immediately and I am looking forward to seeing if there is
a result! I am desperate for these ugly critters to just GO AWAY! I
have had enough now and no treatments have worked, if this doesn't work
I shall be at the end of my tether! :(
So I will keep you posted on my progress, hehe, love from Dannii xx.

Amazing remedy!
I have had "key word HAD" a wart on my left hand middle finger for more
years than I care to admit. It was right beside the finger-tip pad. I
had tried several over the counter remedies for weeks with zero success.
Two nights of ACV as directed, goodbye wart. As many before have said,
it turned black and died. With the location of the wart I expected some
discomfort, it was less than I expected. I now have a wonderful healing
crater!
Thanks to the individuals who created this site!

I have had a number of warts on both hands for years now, left middle
finger was the daddy, big cauliflower with lots of small cauliflowers
elsewhere.
Recently, lots of smaller warts started appearing so tried the
Salicylic acid cream (ouch!) - useless. Nitrogen spray
(OUCH!) - useless. Stanley knife (OUCH!) - useless!
Found this site, read EVERY testimonial and thought oh well, nothing to
lose! Applied ACV to a smaller cauliflower for FOUR nights,
wart went black. Left it a few days then used a pin to remove
the black bit which left a nice clean hole which is healing nicely now.
BUT!! The best bit - THE OTHER WARTS ARE DISAPPEARING
TOO! Even the daddy is almost gone, that has been there for
years! I can't believe it! It's like the ACV
treatment killed the virus all round. Plus, there was NO
PAIN, a bit of discomfort but that's all.
Try it today, nothing to lose, everything to gain! Only
problem is you will bore everyone to death with the great news!

It WORKS!
After trying all the products in the store, picking and pulling at this
wart on my thumb I gave into this treatment.
My wart took about 3 weeks to go away but I kept at it. I think that is
the most important thing to do. Don't give up. It will work!
I did not have any pain until about day 14. The pain was so intense
that I would have to rip the band-aid off of my thumb in the middle of
the night. This only lasted for a few nights though.
Thank you so much for this site and sharing the secret.
I wish everyone would stop wasting their money on those store products

I have had a painful, ugly lump on my index finger for over a year and
a half. After finally giving up my denial that it was just a
callous, I found this site and decided to give ACV a try.
OH my GOD what an adventure! First it turned white and puffy,
then, as I carefully trimmed off layers of dead skin as the ACV fried
them to white, I got to a layer of dark "dots" I was horrified to read
were actually vessels feeding the wart.
Fascinated but more disgusted that unwelcome organisms have been
hijacking my flesh for the past year, I cut the tops off of Q-Tip
swabs, soaked 'em in ACV and secured them on with a
band-aid. I kept them on 24 hours a day, re-wetting
the swabs with ACV every couple of hours.
Warning:
When you get down to the deeper layers, this treatment HURTS.
Being so sick of hiding my finger in social situations, I loved the
feel of it being tortured and burned out of my flesh and just took the
pain, whispering "DIE!" to the little bastard.
It took awhile for the core to turn black, almost 2 weeks of
this. But it did, and easily lifted/fell out the other day,
leaving a deep hole! I am continuing to treat it with ACV for
another week just at night, just to make sure it will never grow back
after this effort.
It's a process you have to commit to, and fyi the wart area will look
all jacked up for at least a couple of weeks! That said, DO
IT! This WORKS, and for .89 cents!! THANK YOU ALL
for writing here...it sure did the trick.

I have a large wart on my finger for about 1 year now. I tried going to
the doctor and having him freeze it off, it didn't work.
I started applying the acv about 10 days ago now and it has flattened
out considerably. I haven't gotten any scabbing yet, however I can see
the black roots right under a thin layer of skin.
I'm applying the acv 24 hours a day, changing the cotton ball about 2-3
daily(usually after I take a shower or get the band aid very wet from
washing hands). After the 7th day their is a little burning for the
first 10-15 minutes then it goes away.
I think for larger warts where the surface is raised considerably
higher than normal, you should use acv for at least 2 weeks. I'm going
to keep applying until all the black is completely gone, than probably
for a few more days just to make sure it doesn't come back.

I'm a nail biter and after a few years in college, a few of my fingers
had rough skin around the edges, even after weeks of not biting.
figured I had damaged the skin bad enough that it just grew in a
subtle, weird way. I also had a rough circular patch of irregular skin
on my middle finger, close to the nail, and whenever it would get
scratched, man would that sucker bleed!
So I went online one day, came upon this site, and while I doubted they
were warts, decided to give the ACV a try.
After only one night with a cotton ball soaked in vinegar applied to
each rough patch of skin with a bandaid and medical tape over it, I
woke up and grossed myself out because the areas had turned black. So I
panicked, took a needle and picked as much black skin out as I could
(which hurt!!). When i reapplied the ACV, my fingers throbbed SO bad I
was almost in tears. Did it for a week and it was a PITA walking into
work with tape over your fingers (b/c of course everyone wants to know
what happened).
My advice, tell those nosey SOB's that your a recovering nail biter who
was on the brink of a relapse this week :).
Words to the wise. While this treatment works, when they turn black
(yeah i know its nasty looking), DON'T pick at them too early. It WILL
make the rest of the ACV treatment MISERABLE! Let me say it again... DO
NOT PICK AT THEM. If you do, you WILL lose sleep over the pain.
Give them a few days and let them scab over and fall off on their own.
If its a big wart, when it falls out, it will leave a missing chunk in
your skin. Be patient, give it a week and it will grow back normally! I
did mine for five days, and three weeks later, my nails are 100% better.
Definitely recommend to anyone who has this annoying skin issue and
wants to get rid of it.

I have had my flat warts for 30 years, they started small as a
teenager, and I ignored them. In my thirties they were larger
but skin coloured so I ignored them some more. In my forties
they were more red and raised, so started freezing them myself with
Wartner (our Doctors said they don't do freezing anymore, good old
NHS!) Wartner just didn't seem strong enough to freeze them so nothing
happened.
In desperation about a month ago I bought Bazuka, and started the long
long saga of applying everyday and peeling that layer off and applying
new etc. I was embarrassed to have white all over my hands,
so after week I stopped, some of the warts have flattened slightly,
only due to the layers reducing.
Last week I noticed all my warts were starting to 'flare up' probably
because I now know you are meant to continue treatments until the warts
go!. After researching the internet last week, heard about
the miracle of ACV and started 3 days ago.
My word, it hurts like hell, but the warts started going black after
two days. They look horrendous, hurt all day long but its so
going to be worth it.
Just wanted to thanks EVERYONE who recommended this method,THANK
YOU, but just wanted to warn that I think the longer you've
had warts and depending on the size, the more pain you are going to
have. For those who have had freezing, its a bit more painful
than that.
Don't be scared of trying, no pain no gain. Best wishes everyone.
Update:
September 20, 2010
Day 11: ACV Treatment
After a week of agonizing pain using ACV to get rid of my 30 year old
flat warts, some valuable lessons have been learnt:-
1) Like me, you may have been so desperate to start the treatment that
you shop bought your ACV, DON'T, I believe this stuff is just too harsh
on them, I imagine that battery acid is only slightly more
harmful. After using shop bought its been too painful for me
to treat them all night, every night and I could hardly use my fingers
in the day time. I have now bought some organic, raw and
unrefined ACV, and you can feel it working, but it doesn't burn like
the shop bought. Lets hope I have some sleep this week!
2) Do not put your band-aid/plasters on too tight, it really does make
a difference. When I first started, I was using three types
of plasters/tape, no real need. Now I just use a bit of
cotton wool and one plaster over it, as long as the plaster remains
sticky, it will stay on all night.
3) Don't overload the cotton wool with too much ACV, maybe start off
easy and then increase the saturation as your skin gets used to it.
4) When you fist start treating the warts and they go white and puffy,
make sure you don't knock/bash them. I did by accident, which
took the white puffy 'head' off. This has been very
problematic for me since, and more painful than the other four warts
put together.
Hopefully the above tips may be of help.
I have really suffered last week, I refuse to give up though, my warts
all went black after 2-3 days, but now, day 11, they are still there
and still hurt like crazy, I have cried a few times just battling with
myself to keep ACV on, I lost a lot of battles, but I will carry on and
I will win. (one day, soon, I hope)
Update:
December 2, 2010
To cut a long story short, I carried on with the acv treatment, all the
warts went black and I waited for them to more of less be falling off
before I actually took them off.
I continued to treat the 'craters' for a couple of weeks but that is
when my skin had had enough, red inflamed rubbery patches appeared,
very itchy (I read this is some sort of scar tissue that happens when
the skin gets to taught) I had to stop all treatments, needless to say
the warts have all come back and I actually have more now as the acv
had drawn some new ones out.
I am gutted to be honest.I am going to wait until after Xmas
and start treatment again, only one at a time! I visited a
doctor who said he had not heard of the acv treatment, but clearly from
what I described he was impressed with its capabilities, as turning
them black (dead) it what all topical treatments should achieve.
I think I am just unlucky and have a particularly strong
strain. Best wishes to all who try, I am sure you will be
successful.

Omg! I kept looking for home remedies for these warts I've had on my
knee since I was 8 (I was getting really sick of them) and one that was
on my left wrist.. and I found the banana remedy and a few other ones.
But I used the banana and it might have worked if I had kept doing it
but we ran out of bananas.. but then I found this and I was like..
hmm.. I wasn't really sure..
so at first I would just put apple cider vinegar on a q tip and apply
it on the warts and put a band aid on them at night, but then after a
week I was like I'm gonna use a cotton ball instead.
So i soaked the cotton ball in vinegar and scotch taped it on my knee
and my wrist for about 4-5 days at night (I just took it off in the
morning and i didn't even put a band aid on it or anything) and after 1
day it got all puffy and white (I filed the dead skin off) and the
2nd day it started looking irritated. And then on the 3rd day
it looked like it had a black spot in the middle, and then the 4th day
they turned black, and then the 5th day they were gone!!
Just black spots that are scabs are there now. But on the 4th day I
could feel the wart getting irritated as soon as the vinegar went on
but its worth it for a little pain!!
DO THIS if you have WARTS! I think I had 7-8 all together (they were
little) but they were ugly. I am soo happy! I've had those for 6 years
now!! Now they're gone! Yay!!

It definitely works.
I had two down stairs: one that I knew for sure was, and one that I
thought was an ingrown hair. After failing with using the
freezing Dr. Scholls stuff (or however you spell it), I did the cotton
ball w/ apple cider vinegar method.
The cotton ball ended up on the one I thought was an ingrown hair and
it turned white after about 5 minutes.
I left it and a second cotton ball on the two warts for a little over
24 complete hours and both warts turned into scabs. Today is
a week later and they're both just small scabs that are barely visible.
Two things:
1) I wet the cotton balls every hour or so with vinegar and only slept
maybe 6 hours. I kept both warts soaked in the vinegar.
2) DON'T use that freezing stuff. The one I tried it on has
so far left a scar. Luckily, it isn't noticeable, but I can
still tell.
The vinegar stings a little but it is definitely worth the
pain. Suck it up.
Thanks for putting this site up. Money is tight and I am very
excited to never have to go through the embarrassment of telling my
doctors about this problem every few years.

My 7 year old daughter had 24 warts - on her hands and some on her
knees.
We tried salicylic acid and tried to freeze one - it didn't work - just
upset her!
I found this site 6 weeks ago, just before the school summer holidays
and we decided to have a go. I made up a solution of 50ml of
cider vinegar, 5 drops of lemon oil and 5 drops of tea tree oil.
Every night we treated the area around each wart with vaseline to
protect the skin and then applied the cider vinegar with a cotton bud
directly on each wart- I put a plaster on top of each one. It
took less than 1 week for 3 or 4 of the big warts to turn black and
fall off. Some of the other warts seemed to flatten and
disappeared.
My daughter is delighted - she has 7 small warts left - that we are
continuing to treat.
It has taken commitment to do this every night and we have gone through
hundreds of plasters - but it was well worth it.
I hope you have as much success.

I did as the instructions stated, cotton ball soaked in Apple Cider
Vinegar and duct taped onto forefinger wart, left it for the
night...cut of the duct tape in the morning.
INCREDIBLE...the wart has swollen into a huge white puffy thing, I have
never seen it react to anything like that (freezing, acid, banana skin).
It looks so ugly its amazing, I could stare at it all day, I have
recovered it with a plaster with a dap of ACV.
I can't wait till tonight to do another cotton ball treatment and see
what happens next.
Most fun I've had in ages.
Update:
September 07, 2010
I am on day 5 of the ACV treatment, simple cotton ball dipped in ACV
and duct taped to finger. I actually discovered that a good way to
protect the rest of your non infected finger or portion of skin is to
cut a hole in a plaster and apply it so only the wart area is exposed
and then to position the cotton ball directly on the wart secured by
duct tape.
After an initial reaction on day 1 where my wart puffed up into an ugly
white blob with a crater in the middle, there has not been much change.
I apply the ACV treatment as described above each night and in the
morning remove the tape and cotton ball, I do not experience
any pain, sometimes a mild throbbing, thats it.
The wart will have gone an off white slime colour and will be swollen
with a crater in the middle. I leave the wart exposed and
during the course of the day it hardens, shrinks a little and the
crater becomes a little darker, (not black). I have noticed what could
be described as 1 or 2 tiny growths poking out like little spots
surrounding the wart, these may be baby warts surrounding the main wart
that are getting flushed out, or maybe other impurities that were
festering under the skin.
I am going to continue with the treatment, as I know this is a tough,
resilient massive wart that will take some killing. Hope to report back
if anything radical occurs.
Update:
September 13, 2010
Day 13, unlucky for some.
My continuous ACV treatment has still not rid me of the pesky wart.
During the night I apply acv soaked cotton ball to the wart, it swells
up white by morning, during the day it hardens a scab (brown) appears
in the center and is surrounded by a white ring. not sure if this means
the wart has risen to the surface and is now dying.
The skin is too tough on my finger for peeling it off right now. I have
noticed that there is pain now when I apply acv as there was none in
the first 7 days of treatment. The rest of my finger is suffering too
with cracks appearing and rough skin sensitive to touch.
I will continue I have come too far to give up now...this was never
going to be easy!
Update: September 17, 2010
Day 16: ACV Treatment
AT LAST!!!
I think, (99.9%) that the mother wart has gone, last night I sat with
my wife (a pharmacist), I peeled off the the brownish dot that had been
getting slowly larger and more visible under the swollen area where the
wart was located. The brown bit, it turns out was actually the wart
which had risen to the surface and scabbed over ready to peel off.
Whats left behind now is a volcano looking area, i.e. a bump (white)
with a crater where the wart exited.
The last 4 days were painful, to the point where I had to get up in the
night and remove the plaster holding the cotton ball soaked in ACV over
the wart.
It took time 15 days, the first day give an immediate reaction where
the wart area blew up like a fluffy white blob, the next 12 days were a
battle of attrition where the ACV slowly killed and flushed the wart to
the surface, along the way uncovering other baby warts and impurities
festering near the mother wart.
My finger turned into a zombie finger, wrinkled, cracked, bloody,
painful, I was embarrassed at work to even display it without a plaster
it looked so disgusting, but eventually the wart has peeled off. It was
incredibly deep, I know that because every other treatment I have tried
including freezing has failed to kill it.
I will continue with ACV for another week to make sure the mother wart
is gone for good, but if it is truly gone then it is a big thumbs up
for ACV from me.
Update:
September 27, 2010
Day 26: ACV Treatment
Its been 9 days since the mother wart peeled off dead from my index
finger. The critter was there for 4 years, the ACV took 14 days
treatment. What was left behind was a crater which for good measure I
refilled with ACV.
My finger which had become blistered, bloody, cracked because of the
treatment is healing itself slowly, still a bit rough and darkened.
The mother wart has left behind a swollen lump with a slight indent
where the crater once was. It may be another 2 weeks before my finger
returns to normality and I can I hope the post wart lump is just dead
skin as that area did balloon up like a puffy cloud and now with wart
dead and gone it has deflated and I suppose will eventually wear
away...I'm not going to celebrate just yet.
Not until I look at my finger without ever being able to tell if there
ever was a wart there or until I am sure it is gone for good..it was a
real evil one thats for sure.
Update:
November 01, 2010
Day 57: 2nd ACV Treatment
After the mother wart peeled off 1 month ago, I gave my finger some
time to recover as it had become a cracked, bloody, painful mess.
After 14 days the finger healed nicely but the area where the mother
wart there remained a lump of rough skin, which I hoped was just dead
skin that I could eventually grind down with an emery board.
Yesterday I decided the wart was still alive and applied another round
of ACV. Today my fears have proved correct, the wart is still
alive, but weakened, the ACV has already caused it to blacken and
reveal itself, not so deep and not so large but certainly still there.
I will continue the ACV for a week and hopefully this will kill it for
good.

My daughter had lots of strange white bumps on her face.
We took her to a dermatologist who diagnosed flat warts, and prescribed
an expensive cream which, after 6 months had done nothing.
I read about the ACV treatment and suggested to her (she is away at
college) that she dilute it and try it on one small area (forehead).
She was so keen to get going, she slapped full concentration vinegar on
cotton balls and band-aided them to her entire face. Next morning I had
a very tearful girl on phone saying she "looked like a pizza".
BUT, although I was horrified at the time, the redness went away and
ALL of the warts were completely gone. They just disappeared.
So, I would recommend a milder approach than she did on the face.
Dilute the ACV and make sure you have no important dates for a week! It
really did work though and she is delighted with the result.

My warts started awhile back when I was 7. I swim a lot and I guess I
caught it at a swim meet.
Anyway so there was one fairly sized wart on my big toe left foot. I
told my parents and they said it would go away so I waited and waited.
A few weeks later I look at my big toe and there is another one beside
the first one. I picked and pried at them nothing worked.
Now I'm twelve years old and I ended up with several on the bottom of
my left foot and about 4 spread about on my left hand. I tried the duck
tape method and many others and I stumbled across this site and read
all the remarkable stories and decide to try it, besides I have tried
everything else beside freezing it off because I'm afraid of the pain
(I have a VERY low pain tolerance) so I tried ACV.
At first I thought what are people talking about on here? I had no pain
for about 4-5 days but then it really started to hurt. The black spots
were already showing after about a week and a few days. But the pain
was way to much so I couldn't walk for many days at a time so I stop
using ACV (plus my mom got me some compound W freeze in a bottle with
NO pain).
So if you can stand the pain use it this is a GREAT thing and when I'm
older and can stand the pain if I get a wart I WILL use ACV. I just
wanted to pay my deep deep respect for this website =)

I have had a wart on my index finger along the nail bed for a year and
a plantar on my foot for about 3 years which has been frozen and
attacked with acid for 4 months, then dug out, only to come
back. It was the size of a dime.
After just about giving up, I read about ACV and gave it a
try. Please note that warts will react differently with
different people.
I am on week 6 - 7 on the foot and it is still there, however it is
getting smaller so I have confidence that it will continue to go
away. I didn't flake away, I hasn't just dropped off, I have
to cut it away every 3rd day then add more ACV.
Also, it is still very alive under what is dead, so the pain is pretty
bad, but after 6 weeks, I am use to it. If this takes 6
months I will continue, because this is the closest to success I have
ever had!
The wart on my finger is now a tiny area which I will also continue to
treat until when I put on ACV is doesn't hurt.
This is a commitment, each person is different, but worth it - it just
takes time.

I've had this plantar wart for about 5 months.
I kept using the Dr. Scholl's, think I got rid of it--and then the damn
thing came back. I went to my dermatologist who recommended we freeze
the damn thing off. However, what they don't tell you about freezing is
that you have to go back up to 5 or 6 times to get the skin
"paired"--which means CUT OFF. Not being too thrilled of scalpels to my
feet (and having experienced this with another wart 10 years ago), I
decided to keep treating on my own. That's when I came across this
website.
Shockingly, as I have nothing else in my pantry, I did have apple cider
vinegar! It has now been about 6 days since I started treatment. Within
the first few hours the black dots were already becoming more visible
on the wart.
By day 2 it had turned a brownish black. I don't like picking at things
so I left it alone (but continued changing the ACV in the morning and
at night). Yesterday (Day 5)I noticed that the edge seemed to be
flaking a bit. I took a metal nail file and just tried to ease it up a
bit--the whole black section came right off with NO pain. It left a
little crater with some more black dots in it. I was able to remove
some of them with tweezers (minimal pain), and then reapplied ACV.
This morning the remaining dots had turned very black (just like Day
2). I think this is the last of it. I expect in a few days I will be
able to pick these suckers off as well. I am blown away by how FAST
this treatment has been. Don't waste your money on Dr. Scholl's--this
stuff WORKS.
As far as the pain involved: The most annoying aspect for me is not
being able to put much weight on the ball of my foot (where the wart
is). Gym shoes work best, especially with a little moleskin pad over
the band aid. Certain days the ACV burned more than others. It really
is a distinct throbbing pain--sometimes a lot, sometimes not at all. I
can't really figure out why it hurt sometimes and why it didn't.
Sometimes, I was fine putting pressure on my foot. Sometimes, I hobbled
around. In any case, I am 4 days from the start of school, and my goal
was to be able to put enough pressure on my foot to wear high heels. I
think I'm going to be able to do it!
(Also, for those paranoid people like me--I was convinced I was the one
person that would continually have a black spot on their foot that
would never come off. But mine did! So yours will too!)

I had a big cluster of verruca or planter warts for 9 years on my
foot, salicylic acid and freezing helped temporarily but did
not kill it.
After discovering this site, using apple cider vinegar, it's gone after
a few weeks!
Thank you so much for your help!!! Score 1 for herbal remedies!

People I am only 13 years old and I have a wart on my right pinky and
let me tell you, it was freaking embarrassing!
At school I would curl my pinky in my hand like making a fist so people
wouldn’t see it. Some did and asked: " What’s on your finger?" That
right there was embarrassing and gross to say it was a WART. I think I
have had this wart for about 1 year I guess. My mom kept trying to
schedule doctor appointments and buying that freeze off crap at
Wal-Mart. Woa woa woa, I am terrified to the idea of it getting frozen
off and I don’t want to go to doctor because they would probably freeze
it off. My confidence level dropped because of this freaking wart. So I
told my mom " Just let me see some weird ways to get rid of them at
home on the internet"
So I went online one day, and this website listed all these different
ways. Like sticking a banana peel or lemon peel on it at night(weird,
but I didn’t try it because I’m a hard nut to crack). One of them was
sticking duck tape on the wart and leaving it on there all day. I did
for about 2 days and I didn’t see anything happening. So I took break
on the wart for about a month so i could get my immune system up.
Starting eating more healthier and getting good sleep, exercise. All
that.
Then yesterday night I said "That is it!!! Enough is enough! Asta
lavista Wart". And I went to the kitchen and grabbed the some vinegar,
I didn’t use apple cider but just white vinegar, whatever, same thing
to me. I put some vinegar on it and taped it around my pinky and went
to bed. Woke up this morning I actually forgot I put it on there.
Anyway, took it off and it was white, I didn’t know what to think
because the wart would be white when I would go swimming in the pool
for an hour. Then like 20 minutes later, it seemed like it was getting
a little gray. And it kept getting darker till it reached black. I
didn’t freak out I was smiling, because I had hope that this could be
it! The day I would see this thing off my finger!! But I didn’t know
what to do when warts get black, so I went online to see what it means
when your wart if black. It said that it means the wart is dying and
the roots are dying! Man I was the happiest rooster in the pen! The
website said not to pick at the wart, so if your reading this and your
wart is black or becoming black, DON'T PICK AT IT. Let the wart suffer
on its own, Ha! ha! ha! Seriously don’t pick at it.
I had the vinegar on the wart for one night (the first night) and as
soon as I wake up it starts to turn black. So lucky me getting results
on first day, don’t get bummed if your wart doesn’t turn black on the
first day. All warts are different just like all people are different.
I’m hoping it falls off before school starts which is in about 2 weeks.
So, yes looks like Vinegar will take care of those nasty warts. The
downer for me in this is, my finger smells like vinegar, and when I
eat, I can see the black wart since it’s on my pinky, and it just
totally grosses me out. But life is tough and we’ve gotta make
sacrifices. I hope you consider making this one. What’s the worst that
could happen? It doesn’t fall off?
...Anyway have a great day! Please try this!! No joke, this is the key
to happiness. I never thought I would be so grateful to vinegar! =).

After reading everyone's comments yesterday about ACV, I went out this
morning and bought some.
I've had a verruca under the ball of my foot for about 12 yrs...had it
freeze - blasted a couple of times at the doctors, which didn't do
anything except bring 3 more along.
Anyway, got the cotton ball, band-aids, did it all, had a peep 2 hours
later...they had all disintegrated, leaving pale, white looking
craters! I still cant believe it now! 2 hours and they had gone.
Absolutely no pain at all. At 1 stage, I even forgot that I'd done it...
My 6 year old son has had one under his foot for about a year- (ever
since his first lot of school swimming lessons???).....so I put some on
his as well... no pain for him either….I checked under the band-aid ONE
hour later, and his had gone too!..just leaving the crater.
it is unbelievable, I tell you! I think I was expecting (or hoping)
something would happen in about a week... but one and two hours????
that has just blow'n me away!!!
Obviously everyone is different, but you have nothing to lose guys...
DO IT NOW!!!
I will put an update on again soon, after I have continued this process
for a little while to make sure its gone for good. bye! Good
luck!:-)

It was painful but not too bad. The skin around the wart peeled a
little as well. But overall it worked great.

My son is seven and he has been cursed with the wonderful gift of warts
on his feet.
When I was a child I had them all over my hands. I remember going to
the doctor over and over to have them frozen off...which never worked.
Using a finger nail file, throat numbing spray, tweezers, and my dad's
aftershave I opened my own wart removal service. Cured forty
kids...made ten dollars all together.
Well, with my son's warts being on his feet this wouldn't work as well
due to the fact he is so ticklish. After a few trips to freeze them off
with no results I went to my faithful Dr. Google who referred me to
this site.
ACV? Once I figured out what that stood for I realized I had a few
bottles already. I applied the ACV as directed and after only two days
the small warts are gone and the beast is changing colors. The "Queen
Wart" as my son calls it, is swollen and about ready to drop dead. To
my surprise, my son has no problems walking and says that he feels
absolutely no pain or discomfort...or at least no more than before the
ACV treatments.
The largest wart is right on the ball of his foot and was already
becoming an issue with his running and stomping around. So glad I found
this advice and all these testimonials are true and this stuff really
works! I swear on Elvis it does!

Hi, I got a wart on the surface of my foot a size of a pea since 13
years.
When I tried to kill it with freezing, it grow to size of a quarter.
There is another little wart grow next to it like a size of a pea and
it is there for 4 months now. Without wasting time to doubt,
i knew it is the same kind of virus.
After reading this good feedback from you guys who take the time and
share this good method using ACV to kill these wart, i decided to go
for it.
I used cotton pad soaked with ACV and applied to the two warts with
plaster nightly and its been night number 13. It is really
hurt on the night 5 and 6 for 3-4 hours.
Now, the little wart become a black crater with white edges around it
and the skin is flaking away. The big wart, turn white, puffy
and half of it turn brown. There is lots of speckles black dots around
it and drying up. I feel it is working and I will continue until 2
months later to make sure these wart die and leave me forever. I will
continue and keep you guys posted.
Thank you all so much to share the people who created this web page so
that desperate people like me have hope to cure warts.

I was really skeptical when I came across this site. I was reading all
the positive reviews and I thought it was some kind of scam, but it
really worked!
I have 2 warts on my right hand; one on my thumb and one on my middle
finger. I put the apple cider vinegar on them at night and in about a
week they turned a dark color and sort of looked like scabs on my
fingers.
I peeled the scab things off and the one on my middle finger is gone,
but the one on my thumb grew a new scab which I can't peel off. I think
I'll try a couple more nights with the apple cider vinegar on it to see
if that will make it go away.
For me the process was pretty much painless. My fingers would be a
little sore in the mornings after taking the band-aids off but nothing
too severe.
I also have 5 warts on my left foot and one on my right. I put the
apple cider vinegar on two of the biggest ones on my left foot last
night. One is really sore today and the other one is fine. The sore one
has already turned darker and I filed it down with a pumice stone which
got rid of all the excess skin around it. I'm going to keep up the
treatment to the warts on my feet since I saw success in the ones on my
hands.
This is a very useful treatment and I would recommend it to anyone who
has wart problems!

I covered the wart with ACV on a cotton ball secured with a band-aid

First I would like to thank everyone for their testimonials and
positive experiences with ACV. I have never heard of this
before.
I have had a wart, kind of like a plantar wart on the side of my thumb
for 20+ years. It has been professionally frozen numerous
times and I have used ALL of the over the counter methods to remove it
myself to no avail.
I took all of the advice from this site and tried the ACV.
After 5 nights of securing a band-aide and ACV soaked cotton ball to my
thumb I notice my thumb skin starting to peel.
Yes I burned the skin like an idiot! I decided to let that
heal for several days before re-applying. However, I noticed
it had gotten smaller so I did not re-apply.
It is now 14 days later and all I have is a very slight
scar. I am so thrilled with the results and was skeptical but
I am a firm believer now.
Thanks to all of you for sharing.

Had an annoying wart on my left pointer finger for 2 years. It's ugly
and scrapes my pocket whenever I try to reach into it.
I tried freezing it seven or eight times, NO RESULT. The doctor once
froze it with some spray on stuff, no result there either.
After using this vinegar 3 times it turned black, I sat for 10 minutes
picking at it until the black 'cap' came off, and now it's even with
the rest of my skin. I'm going to keep using it for a bit to kill off
whatever is left.
It works and it IS worth a try!!!

Add me to the list of believers.
I'm 40. I have/(had?!?) one nasty plantar wart that was probably 10
years old, just under my fourth toe at the top of the foot that started
small and became a little smaller than a dime in size. In time, a
cluster of three or four small satellite warts spread to the ball of my
foot. And then one on the ball of my other foot.
I tried a range of over the counter remedies, regular visits to the
doctor for freezing, and had just made a renewed commitment to rid
myself of the buggers when I found this site.
Nothing sticks to my feet, and my wife wanted no part of apple cider
vinegar soaked cotton in the beds. So, my method was to soak my feet in
bowls of ACV for 2 hours every night, after which I painted each wart
with a few coats of the over the counter acid stuff. During the day, I
used the acid pads & repeated the ACV soak each night.
The 2nd day, the pain was so bad that i was walking around on my heels.
It was like walking with knife blades stuck in my feet.
I took the 4th night off, just using the acid and pads because the
following day I was doing a huge alpine hike and wanted to be pain free.
Got home, and soaked my feet, cut away the dead skin and low and behold
the blackened core of each wart fell away, revealing new pink skin
underneath. I am amazed to have these results in just 5 days after 10
years of failing to rid myself of plantar warts.
I'm continuing the treatment to be sure, as there are still some
remnants around the edge of the crater where the warts formerly lay,
but I am confident that they're on the run.
Folks, try this, persevere through the pain and stick with it - ACV
works.

Apple Cider Vinegar worked great.
I was lucky to come across the ACV information as I have only tried one
other medication before it. Over the counter freezing medication did
not work at all for me. It even made it worse in my case.
Anyways, I do not really do testimonials, but I promised myself that I
would help encourage people to use ACV if it works and it did in my
case.

I had a plantar wart on the ball of my heal and another wart on my
ankle (at the side of my achilles tendon). All over the counter
remedies had failed and one freezing effort at the doctor didn't work
either.
I tried the ACV method and the pain was quite intense. It kept me awake
for a night or two. I found the pain was minimised by taking a
painkiller and also elevating the lower leg with a pillow. Any pressure
on the area caused pain.
It took a week or two and the warts just slowly disintegrated. They
didn't magically "fall off" as others describe, I had to gradually
remove parts of the dead warts with tweezers. They showed black spots
first then went grey then black as they died.
It has now been 5 months and they have not reappeared, the skin where
the warts were is totally healed and no signs that a wart was ever
there.
Totally recommend this method.

The plantar wart on my foot has been there longer than I have been
married!
I went to the podiatrist last week for the first time in a few years. I
had the laser treatment done a while back but it came back! It hurts to
walk sometimes and mostly just makes me angry!
The podiatrist mentioned ACV so I've had my foot bandaged for 2 days
now with it on. I feel like someone it pushing a hot screwdriver into
my foot but I know its working! The whole ball of my foot is white and
swollen looking but I don't care if my skin falls off as long as it
goes away!
All these comments make me hopeful in our final parting! It hurts and
really really itches, but I'm trying to keep at it and not deal with
this anymore!
I've spent $10 on band aids and tape and ACV so if it doesn't work, I
don't care!

I am absolutely stunned. Seriously.
When I was looking up ways to kill warts, I looked at this method and
just rolled my eyes, then spent at least an hour and a half to two
hours pouring over the testimonials here. Every single one was
positive, which made me even MORE suspicious. I mean, nothing is 100%
fail-proof, so it seemed so suspicious to me that everyone who
commented here had nothing but praise for this method.
Still, my mom always has a bottle of Bragg's apple cider vinegar around
the house, so I decided to go ahead and try it. Like all 20 year olds,
I'm extremely self conscious, especially when it comes to things like
warts on my feet. I'd had two on my right foot for nearly three years,
one on the side of the ball of my foot, the other buried deep in my big
toe. And I mean deep- it had built up so much dead skin and callouses
around it that you couldn't really tell it was a wart because the skin
was smooth over it, but if you managed to get the dead skin off, you
could clearly see it was there.
I started using apple cider vinegar probably three days ago. I never
had any real pain while the cotton balls were pressed to my feet; for
some reason the only time it would hurt would be in the morning when
I'd take off the bandages. It was almost like being exposed to the
fresh air hurt the wart more than the vinegar itself, and for about an
hour or two after removing the bandages I'd be hobbling around until my
foot started to feel okay again. This was... Slightly obnoxious to say
the least, but certainly nothing unbearable by ANY means.
Within the first day, faint grey dots started forming under the skin of
my two warts. These dots spread very quickly, the skin around them
becoming pink and tender. The entire time, all I could think of was,
"oh god what if the skins turns necrotic and infects the rest of my
foot and it starts rotting and they have to cut it off and-"
... So on and so forth. I was not a happy camper during this time, but
hey, I desperately wanted these warts GONE and I figured as long as my
feet weren't agonizing to touch, I was probably okay.
Tonight (the fourth night) I was dipping the cotton balls in the
vinegar and about to apply them again, when I noticed that the one on
the ball of my foot was almost black rather than grey. Being curious, I
couldn't help but take a safety pin to it to see if it would pop out.
While it didn't do that, exactly, it DID start to flake and break off.
Five minutes later (and with quite a bit of gagging), it's mostly gone.
There was still a TINY dot of grey in the center where I assume the
'root' of the wart was, and a bit of dead tissue on the sides of the
hole where I couldn't fully scrape it off, but it seems to be dead for
the most part. On the toe, I managed to peel of the first few layers of
skin, but that one is still firmly rooted to the callouses around it
and doesn't want to be lifted yet, so I'm going to continue soaking it.
I have absolutely no words. NONE. I cannot believe this worked. I am
one of the most skeptical people on the planet, and wild claims like
this NEVER actually work for me. I'm absolutely shocked. I have to say,
please give this a try. You have NOTHING to lose. If it worked for a
skeptic like me, it'll probably work for a skeptic like you might be
reading this. I am incredibly happy, I thought I'd never be rid of
these ugly things and yet it seems like I might finally have smooth
feet again. I am so grateful to have found this, and my humble thanks
go out to the writer of this article and all the people that took their
time to comment on its effectiveness and convince me to give it a try.
<3 Thank you, every single one of you.
Bonus? My foot never turned necrotic, like I was determined it was
going to the first few days. :D

I got a very persistent wart 2 years ago when pregnant and it
eventually spread to at least 11 warts between two hands.
I used apple cider vinegar just how they say to here, soak a small
piece of tissue or cotton and place it on the wart with a bandage.
It hurts like the dickens. I had to use pain pills, but it was so worth
it.
It takes several days, and you must keep doing this even after the
black shows up.
I personally clipped the black area off with fingernail clippers, but I
am impatient. I am sure it will fall off if you just keep applying the
vinegar.
The coolest part was that once I killed the big daddy that started it
all, the remaining warts that I hadn't yet attacked (about 3) just
disappeared within a few days.
It is like the virus got out of my system once the big one was gone.
I will never buy wart medicine again.
