How can I help my horse with ACV.
This is my 5 year old Gunner gelding, Gunny.
I don't have a story yet....except I try and use ACV myself. I guess I want help and suggestions.
I have 2 reining horses that are pretty nice reiners and as you know reining is hard on the joints. Also, when at trainers they rarely get turned out so they pick up vices etc (cribbing) I was also thinking it might help when their legs get stocked up.
So, what I want to know is how much to give them and how? When they are at trainers they have automatic waterers so putting ACV in their water probably won't work. Does it do the same job having them consume it in their feed?
I did, at one point use a vinegar mixture for fly relief and my mare hated it. I think the smell was way too strong (different horse - x race horse) It also burned her coat. Maybe it was too strong.
Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
