Man this stuff really works!

I'm a truck driver and I was skeptical at first because everyone that was taking it was already shaped up nicely.

I got a little overweight but overweight enough to where I wanted to try to slim my belly down a little bit.

Belly slimming is going slow but when I get on the scale I'm noticing I'm starting to lose it after two weeks of taking it.

My weight at first was 261, I'm 252 now in just about a week and a half to two weeks so it is worth it. I can't believe it.

I'm going to keep taking it and now I'm motivated to exercise so I can shape up some of this good chest!

I started drinking ACV with 2 teaspoons of the ACV with 3-4 teaspoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice. I do dump a packet of Crystal light that has 10 calories to help in a 16oz water bottle and shake it up. I drink it with ice in a tumbler cup with the straw.

I start drinking it at 7am and finish by 9am. So far I have lost 4 lbs since Sunday.

I label my water bottles with each day of the week. I only drink one water bottle of it per day and in the morning only. I drink water throughout the day too.

I am not dieting or working out either. I lost 3lbs right away and then it's been half a lb each day after that.

Lost 10 lbs the first week.

Still doing it but gained 5 lbs back.

People say they don't change their diet, just use ACV and lose weight.
I must be doing something wrong.

I just started today ACV, I need to lose 65 lbs.
I been reading up on this and I hope it works for me.

They say you should drink it with warm water use 1-2 teaspoon 30 mins before breakfast and 30 mins before dinner, but then they say you can have ACV before each meal.

Today I am trying it twice a day, tomorrow I will go on the scale and see if I lose anything, then I will try 3 times tomorrow and check my weight.

Now I have seen some comments asking where can you find BRAGG ORGANIC Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother.
I found it at Mom's Organic Market I think it cost $6.49, I know it's over $6.

Is ACV working?

I have started yesterday drinking ACV: 2 tbsp in an 8 oz glass of water before each meal 3 times. In the morning I drink it on an empty stomach. Then I don't feel hungry.

I drink a coffee at 10 am until lunch. I have cabbage soup with chicken breast for lunch. For supper regular meal 50% veggies 10% rice and 40% chicken or pork sirloin.

Yesterday morning October 24, I was at 88.8 kg. This morning October 25, 87.6kg. Water weight for sure.

I will see tomorrow and keep doing this for a month. It curbs my appetite like crazy!!!!!

Trying this thing called "ACV"

So I have here the "American Garden" brand of apple cider. I heard a lot of good feedbacks about this ACV so I decided to try it.

I bought it earlier at the super market for $2 or in Philippine Peso (95 pesos). I mixed 2 full tablespoons on a one cup of water, after I shampoo my hair I pour the mixture into my hair. And waited for 5 minutes. It really has an unpleasant smell but its okay.

So after I rinse it, I feel like nothing happened. But as I brushed my hair its like I used a conditioner even if I didn't. I usually have a tangled hair but thanks to apple cider vinegar.

Tomorrow I will mix ACV into my morning coffee or juice and Ill tell you guys after a week if I lose any weight. Because I heard that ACV can help you to lose weight.

I also have a acne problem on my forehead but I'm still thinking if I will use it there.

Lost 3 lbs on acv and keto diet in 2 days.
I also squirt a little lemon in my water, to prevent kidney stones.

I have 12 lbs to go. Was 120 my normal weight is 105 at best as I am 5'1 so every pound I gain makes it look worse than if I was 5'6.

For the past 5 years I had to forgo exercising and have gained 67 lbs. As of last week I have been cleared to work out.

I recently seen about ACV and the benefits it has for weight loss.

This morning was the first time trying it, however I didn't find the taste bad at all. I currently weigh 237 lbs which I need to get back to 170 lbs... I will keep you updated after a month on my weigh loss.

I discovered the benefits of ACV a few months ago and bought a bottle but didn't bother using it.

However because my weight is steadily creeping up despite diet and exercise I thought I'd at least try it for a week just to see what would happen.

I'm two days in and have already lost 1 lb! I am so chuffed. I always used to be 140 lb but following a hip replacement I gained 17 lb and also having an under active thyroid at 61 years old, losing weight was an impossibility so to me, this is a miracle.

True, it is truly disgusting to drink so I put two tbls in half a glass of water once in the morning and then last thing at night and drink it quickly through a straw.

I have discovered though that it's best to drink after a meal rather than on an empty stomach.

I initially discovered ACV as it's supposed to be able to get rid of Lipomas, that remains to be seen!

Hello ladies out there! It's been a long time since I've commented about the Apple cider vinegar.

I stated in 2011 I lost 5lbs in one week. But I have something I'd like to share with you all.....I switched from regular Apple cider vinegar to BRAGGS APPLE CIDER VINEGAR.

Taking this 3 times a day in a 8oz glass of water, eating boiled & grilled food (only) baked included, 6-8 glasses of water per day.

I also did cardio 2 hrs per day (slowing building up to these 2 hrs/ getting in those 10,000 steps 5-6 days a week. All this along with eating fruits and vegetables 4-6 times a day, everything was done in moderation.

As of today I've lost 135 lbs. All of my drinking Braggs Vinegar water paid off......(2011-2015).

I thank God everyday that I kept going. I fell off the wagon lots of times but got back on always pushing myself a little more. It can be done.

So all of you don't give up and believe in yourself. I weighed 329 now weigh 194! Good luck to all of you.:)

You've lost water weight and as soon as you rehydrate yourself you will gain it back.

The absolute ONLY WAY to lose weight permanently is to lower your calorie intake and EXERCISE!!!

2 TSP in approx. 8 oz of water plus a squirt of Aguave Nectar to kill the taste of the Braggs vinegar a bit.

Stated at 219 lbs about 3 weeks ago, with absolutely no diet change, just the vinegar/water/aguave mix. This morning I was at 203.4 lbs.

That's 15.6 lbs! lost

But... side effects are ... super thirsty, I crave cold drinks, especially water and apple juice.

I drink at least a gallon a day of water, which make me get tired of reading bathroom walls, but hey, I'll take it all for this much weight loss without starvation. Just got to pee a lot!!

Hi, I am a worried lady from Kenya.

Have been adding weight everyday and on hearing about ACV, I couldn't hesitate. I have used it for three days now and I can feel the changes but my worry is the bad taste, smell and the side effects.

I get a bad hurt burn and a severe headache but since I really have to shed weight, I don't have a choice.

Is there anything I can do about this because I have to use ACV untill I get the results I want and thanx for providing this great product in our country, I know our ladies will love it.

We will be taking our dosages after our meals. That is what was told to us about how to take it.

Any type of Apple Cider Vinegar is better than none and that includes the pill form of this. It tends to make the cells more alkaline and able to shed their waste build up. The goal is to get the body working well and the over all metabolism to function better and less sluggishly.

Drinking water is also a very good idea. Raw fruits and veggies are always a good addition. Watch out for too much dairy products. The bread I try and eat is sprouted grain bread.

I was low on money for a while and had to just do the best I could and shop sells. I found a food bank that gives free produce to people. That was nice. If there is a way of having your own organic garden, that is the very best.

Hi girls out there!

I am here to tell you that it is possible to loose 5lbs in one week using the apple cider vinegar.

My weight loss also came along with moderate exercise and eating lots of fruits and drinking plenty of water, like 6 to 8 bottles per day.

I find it hard to make myself eat rite sometimes, so usually I get my grapes, peaches, apples, strawberries and kiwi from the fruit market and pre-bag them off so that it is convenient for me to go in the frig and grab a bag instead of grabbing something that I don't need (something that the rest of my family would eat, cause they aren't in need of weight loss like me).

So just ten minutes of exercise per day for me, eating grilled fish, turkey salads, green salads, fruits and staying away from alcohol drinks during the week and on the weekend I may have one or two no more has tremendously help me and I can see a major difference in my body.

I feel better and my feet have never been free of swelling like this in a long time...

I am 28yrs old have gained 20 lbs over the course of a year, have major stomach problems, lack of energy, sleep at least 12 hours a day, and have been struggling with UTI's for many years even after extensive testing doc's were unable to help me.

I called my mother yesterday to complain like daughters do and she proceeded to tell me she has been taking ACV for several months now.

That is great that your kidneys are flushing, the benefit of that is really good. You are loosing water weight right now, and that is toxic waste that was hanging around.

Keep on trucking with the ACV and drink lots of water too.

You might need more fish or protein if you are getting hungry at night.

When I first started about 2 weeks ago,
it really made me pee a lot, and it cut down my cravings, but now I don't pee as much and I crave late at night. Is that normal?

I haven't weighed myself because I'm waiting for the 1 month mark, so I don't know if I've lost any weight. I don't see any difference but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

After struggling to get my weight down - I'm not grossly overweight, but have a large spare tyre round my waist and my work as a life model won't countenance that really -

I have been trying to change my diet, drink lots more water, do yoga and plenty of walking as well as a physically strenuous job one day a week and saw the predictable weight loss of a few pounds during the first week but for the last two months am just stuck at a certain weight.

Took 2 tablespoons in water for the first time this evening and maybe its my imagination but I feel better already! Time will tell, of course.

I weigh myself once a week at the chemist on their 'scientific' scales which are very accurate so will keep you posted!

Most people add a Tablespoon of ACV to water or shoot it chased by water, 1/2 hour before they eat three times a day.
Water is a must. Even if they do not change any other life style patterns, like exercising more or eating less food in less quantities, they will see a loss of water weight the first week. They will continue to lose weight more slowly the weeks following. It depends on the person.

After the first week, if there is a good deal of weight to lose still, I recommend the book, The Belly Fat Cure by Jorge Cruise. Walking and swimming are good for the heart and circulation too.

I hoped that helped. There is also a great book
Called "Ask and it is Given" by Abraham-Hicks

That book talks about being happy as a way to permanent weight loss. Many people eat out of boredom, depression, or other emotional reasons. It seems odd, but developing a happy outlook might be exactly what helps in the long run.

Yes there is a good ACV capsule. Made by Nutraceutical, Apple Cider Vinegar Extract. Taking two would probably be just about right. I like them for when I am on the road. When traveling it is not always possible to do the real deal. The website is www.go nsl.com.

Another really helpful supplement is Isagenix brand Natural accelerator. I have a hard time waking up sometimes and having energy. It has a blend of ACV and green tea and cayenne pepper and other stuff. I like it because in about 1/2 hour I feel like I am fully awake but not jittery like caffeine does. There is no bad side effect. It just feel good constant energy.

I also recommend a Youngevity product that has every thing in it. I mean plant derived minerals and a full spectrum of vitamins. It is a powder that reminds me of "Tang" that you mix in water and drink. It is called: Tangy Tangerine Mix. Great stuff. Even if we don't eat right you get all you need in the way of vitamins and minerals.

OK, so I already eat healthy for the most part (occasional cakes on birthday and such though lol) and I exercise daily.
But I want to loose 5 lbs and hoped ACV would speed it up.

But let me say, that stuff is SO NASTY! I almost threw up taking it. And I'm concerned of it burning my throat or damaging my teeth, even mixed in water.
I'm considering the pills, I know they say be careful of the brand to buy because some aren't exactly ACV.

So I was wondering has anyone tried using the pills, and did it work for you? also what brand did you buy? thanks :)

I think eating only Oatmeal is not good. I think in time you will tire of it. Any Apple Cider Vinegar is preferable to none.

I honestly thing one great benefit is that ACV allows our cells to absorb more water because the body becomes more alkaline right after drinking it.

Some people want quick results...I think it is better to take it once a day, morning, or evening and then forget about it. Over the months, slowly your total health will improve and your metabolism will improve and that gives you more lasting results anyway.

I purchased a book called" The Belly Fat Cure, by Jorge Cruise.

It is about reducing sugar, even in fruit juice and eating more complex carbs,

For the first time, I think I am seeing a big change.

I have tried so many things. Clearly it is a combination of healthy life style changes that will result in a better you.

Hi. I?m 40 lbs overweight. That is so much to lose.
I am on oatmeal diet, but I?m not doing the ?Eat only oatmeal? thing. But I restrict my calorie intake to 1200 and exercise 3 to 4 times a wk for an hour. I started just about 2wks ago.
Then I came across ACV diet while surfing the net? I?m on it right now.. But I?m using Heinz. Is that ok? Can?t find Bragg?s here. Btw I?m from Philippines.

Hopefully this one will work too. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I agree with Tsuki, I feel extremely hungry after meals. I try to restrain myself from eating again but I fear I might gain so much weight instead of losing it.

Hi all! I started drinking ACV straight about 2 weeks ago, 2 Tbsp. 3 times a day and I feel different. I have more energy and been having more BM's . My appetite has decreased and I notice that my stomach is going down a little. I'm 52 yrs. young am about 80 lbs. overweight, and have type 2 diabetes.
I got 3 of my friends started on the ACV regimen today. They were all fascinated by it. I love it!
I love the taste of it and the way I feel. I'll keep you posted on what's happening.

I always think it is so wonderful when people have lost successfully.

At the moment I am experiencing a set back. We all got the flu, lost some with that then gained the sick weight back.

Life will do that sometimes. I am getting determined to try it all again. Start over.

Another thing is I have been exercising at a gym and think that muscle weight is causing some temporary increase.

So, Determined, how did you lose the 40 pounds?

I just read about everyone?s progress with the ACV ... Congrats...I have lost a total of 40lbs by exercising and eating right. However I have not reach my goal (165 lbs) and for some reason my body does not want to let go of these last few pounds. So I have decided to try the ACV to see if it will help... Starting it today. I went out to dinner last night. My son and I decided to split a desert. But honestly, I only ate a bit or two. The food I desire is different. Less sugar I think. When people are joining a diet, they are thinking I can't eat this or that and feel deprived. I decided this time that if I really want something, at least in moderation, I am going to eat it. I also want to walk more and go to the gym more. Been sick lately, with bronchitis so no, I am not getting there. The nice thing is the ACV is slowly changing my cravings and choices. Maybe the research is right; that women who do not change one thing about their diet (consciously) seem to loose about 20 pounds a year. Maybe they just start to make some better choices and not crave the wrong things as much. Just a thought worth pondering. I think ACV works on many levels.

I have said before, I need my own page. I enjoy blogging about my progress, honestly.

I am 57. Have quite a bit to loose and seem to have tried about every weight loss therapy. This is slow but steady and it just has me hooked.

Well, not too much weight loss but, I quit smoking recently.

Did the ACV help? Maybe.

The break down looks like this: Quit smoking, got a cold that moved into my lungs and severe bronchitis. It was very productive. Mucus. Lots of it. Could the ACV have helped clean up my lungs in such an extraordinary way? Then the other end. History of bladder problems which I read can be caused by smoking. The relationship is unclear to me between nicotine and the bladder but it exists. Urine collection seems to be improved with my body. That means I am eliminating more toxins via urine out of me. That is good.

All of this is moving me closer to a healthier me. It would be nice to see the scale move down faster, but, being healthier, and more energetic is very important.

My lungs should be able to take in more oxygen and then that should up my metabolism just a bit.
I will let you know.

Hi I read somewhere that ACV was good for weight loss so I thought I would give it a try.

I started yesterday but this morning when I woke up I had so much energy. I cleaned my entire house and wasn't even tired, before I would be tired just doing half.

I also got to sleep really well last night, I haven't done that in a long time, I have problems falling asleep but last night fell asleep right away.

So far, I'm loving the benefits. I will see in a week how much weight I have lost and also add some exercise too to help.

Well, I have just started my routine of drinking ACV. I have bought 1 big bottle of ACV last year and I used it to make some mask for my face but I just gotten lazy and so the entire bottle is left in my fridge untouched.

But I have heard of ACV weight loss and thought of trying it. At the same time, that bottle left in my fridge will not go wasted.

So, basically I have just started taking it 3 days ago. I don't feel any difference yet but I will religiously taking it everyday until that entire bottle has finished.

Right now, I am taking 4 tablespoons per day. 1 mix 2 tablespoons of ACV diluted with 1 cup of water plus 2 tablespoons of raw honey. Tastes like apple juice to me. haha! I take it about an hour after meal. I read this page saying that it should be taken before meal but I guess taking a glass of plain water itself is able to suppress appetite before meal. I realized by taking it an hour after meal, I feel that my stomach "emptied" pretty fast. Means I feel as if I am hungry or something but I didn't eat after that. I am taking it after lunch and before going to bed.

I don't know... Perhaps I should start trying to take it before meal instead.

That is really fast! What area of the country do you live in? I am impressed.

I have lots to loose. I do think working out makes a huge difference. I am going to try it this week and see.

I have lost too but more slowly. I lost 2 pounds this week. For me that is good.

Since I started I have lost 6lbs in 3 days.

I'm right back down to 170 and still working on getting to my goal which is 160 to 165.

Remember work-out everyday that is the key even if it is for 30 min try not to get to relax.

Hi, well only been doing the acv for about 2 days.

I used to be able to eat so much. Now that I do the acv at least twice a day, I can't eat that much at all.

To a surprise to myself that I know it's truly working for me.

I had lunch today and the normal meal that I usually eat and it's consider to be a low portion, I can't finish at all.

I have also been exercising twice a day, I run about 1.5 to 2 miles at a moderate pace, and in between your run do short but explosive exercise, then work on your core strength with 30 second interval.

Also if you feel the need, stretch your muscles if they feel tight. Then finish it off with 15 to 20 min rest in the sauna. That so far has been my routine.

Remember outdoor running is better then indoor.

I keep watching this thread, and I am curious about how all of you are doing. Please keep us up to date. Went to Phoenix last week and was off the "juice" for about 4 days. Since I left in a rain/snow/sleet storm I forgot some things. I was just anxious to get to the valley.

It has been a month since beginning this program and I can say that over all I pee more. I do believe water weight is starting to come off.

Like Devil Dawg says exercise and other life style changes can help. Those are going to be added this month.

My main focus was just developing a "habit" last month. If you do something for 21 days, it starts to become a habit.

Thanks for your input. I think I am going to start a twinkle toes page.

The thought of ACV never crossed my mind until a friend of mines tried it when he went home for vacation. Now every comment that I am reading is so far true. He was also feeling the same way. Now that I have read your comments and seen what you have experienced, that makes me want to try it even more. But for the rest, just ACV alone is not enough to get in shape. Exercising is the true key.
Adding ACV is just a plus. Remember 30 minutes a day is all you need. But don't half ACV, cause you'll be just cheating yourself.

I did weight today

It has been a few weeks now. Maybe I am a few pounds lighter, I did actually weigh today. The Holidays usually result in about a 10 pound gain, but, I think I have lost 2 pounds in the last month without changing my diet at all.

The thing that I notice is better digestion and it just feels like junk is getting removed from my intestines.

There is less bloating around my middle section.

I think I will need to work a little harder to see more weight loss. But, I am encouraged already and feel better.

My way of taking ACV

I just wanted to add, that my son also has a weight problem. He adds a tablespoon of ACV and honey to warm water. I can't do it that way. I shoot a tablespoon at a time, several times a day and before going to bed at night. That means, I pour a tablespoon of regular store bought...ACV into a shot glass and down it. Then I chase it with a glass of water.

I have noticed that some people like to put it in tomatoe or V8 juice. I say whatever works. Also there are ACV capsules available. I have some of those too. The capsules are nice if you are on the go..you can put them in a pill box and take them. When I am home I just take the real thing.

I also believe that the water is a key element in this process. I am going to be shopping the local health food store for unfiltered raw ACV in the near future. I am seeing results with the regular cheap stuff right now.

My clothes are looser. The amazing thing is my stomach just feels better, flatter. I can feel the puffiness going down in my face and stomach. I have been doing this about a week, I can't wait to actually weigh.

I started 4 days ago with the acv.

I didn't know much about it till I went to the grocery store to buy salad dressing and seen that and wanted to actually try it out so the first thing I did I googled to see if it's good or not.

I started drinking 2 times a day acv when in the afternoon and late at night. I've lost 3 pounds in 4 days. I drink only water & eat fruits more.

I'm down to 130, now my goal is 120 or 115. I know by using this it will really help me, goodluck to everyone :)

I am having results now, after about a week. I only weigh once a month.

Don't just focus on pounds and weight loss. Oddly I started with the Abraham Hicks DVD, Think and grow thin. My food problems tend to be emotional eating. They say the most important place to start is with self love and appreciation. Get Happy, anyway you can and there will be a bounce in your step.

Find a purpose for your life. In other words, some people are couch potatoes moping around the house. That can't be good. Do things you enjoy, like walk with a friend, get an ipod and dance around the house etc. Make a salad dressing out of ACV and olive oil and seasonings...homemade is best. Add it to tomatoe juice and chase with another glass of ice water.

I am more vegetarian now too. I eat kinder for all living things have consciousness. Look pretty no matter how much you weigh...take time to groom and look attractive. I add vitamins and minerals to my own life...it really helps my overall well being.

Edgar Cayce said the ACV makes the body more alkaline, even though it is acidic. He also recommends adding lemon juice to things and drinking a small amount of no sugar added grape juice before each meal. Get a pretty wine glass, fill it with grape juice and water and sip it while cooking. Now that is the appetite suppressant that works for me.

If people aren't seeing immediate results it might be for other reasons. Some of us are water retainers and will shed a great deal in the beginning, some won't. I would look at the many benefits of what you are doing and if you must add a bit more exercise to see greater weight loss then do so and watch out for dairy and white flour products. Those are my two problem children. Use moderation with sugar too.

When your 80 year old family starts to extol the virtues of ACV then you KNOW that you have to pick some up too. He was recommending it for my insomnia, but I'm much more turned on for its weight loss properties.

But just a couple of questions...

Hubby and I are going to try it as a half and half shot (1 tbsp ACV with V-Go:seasoned V8) before dinner. I'll probably try for 3 times a day though as I'm around home.

I was reading that most people are trying 2 tbsps though... what do you think?

And are you just using plain old grocery store ACV, or do you pick up something fancier at the health food store?

Please advise when you can.

I'm just adding a twist to it and having a "shot glass" of apple cider vinegar before an 8 oz glass of water , and that's before every meal.

Also trying to blend a variety of info I have compiled into a meal plan ..... I hope to lower my fat intake , lower my sodium intake , cleanse my system , and lose weight in the process.

Final results I hope for are weight loss , lower blood pressure and less water retention and the ability to endure healthy exercise ! wish me luck and I will definitely keep everyone posted .
